Update.
Been at a dealer service department since Monday. Not driveable. Transmission jerks and slips. They “had their transmission guy look at it” and say it’s fine. They are convinced it’s electrical but can’t pin it down. Would an electrical issue progressively get worse over seven months until it’s not drivable?
They are uninterested in any narrative from me of the problem, how it manifested and progressed. They just plug in their computers and try to diagnose that way. Feeling a bit helpless.
After asking for a loaner they offered to cover $35/day through Enterprise. Basically covers a Corolla. This is a work truck, hauling material and supplies to off-road sites in winter weather.
Any ideas on how to get pressure from Ford Corporate on this? If that would even work?
