It has downloaded most of the files, but still needs to DL ten more to get them all.

My Job 1 '21 just updated to 3.5.3. It happened right after a drive to the liquor store and taking the long way home. I'm an iPhone guy so I don't care about Alexa but the full screen Car Play is nice. Those that are still waiting for 3.5.3 may want to try my method for getting this OTA update

My Job 1 '21 just updated to 3.5.3. It happened right after a drive to the liquor store and taking the long way home. I'm an iPhone guy so I don't care about Alexa but the full screen Car Play is nice. Those that are still waiting for 3.5.3 may want to try my method for getting this OTA update

Job 1 trucks were built before July of 2021 and Job 2 trucks were built July and after.

In the half a year I have been following these issues, there is no systematic way I have seen as to how these updates get pushed out.

Interesting. You had 3.5.3.2 sent to you this morning, and it is sitting there and has not downloaded any files yet. The weird part is, while you had 3.5.3.2 in your queue, they sent you 3.5.3.2 again 30 minutes after they sent it the first time, so the second one failed which makes sense since you already had that update in your queue.

Here you are getting it twice and I can't get it once. lol Hopefully it goes through for you.

This morning you were kind enough to check my OTA's and 3.5.3.2 was sent to the truck but nothing downloaded, so I jokingly said I need to park it by a cell tower. Well I did just that, I drove around for exactly 31 minutes per the trip timer then I parked at my local mall that is in clear eyesight and maybe 300 yards from a known AT&T cell tower, I locked it up and walked around the mall for about 30 minutes, came back to the truck and 3.5.3.2 had installed successfully. I will be super curious if I get 3.5.4 in the next few days like some others have reported.

01/27 10:30 ish - Found out an OTA was scheduled for my truck earlier this morning (nothing attempted to download, not the 3 file issue some are having)
01/27 11:30 ish - Drove around for 31 minutes and parked next to a known AT&T cell tower
01/27 12:30 ish - Left the truck for 30 minutes came back and 3.5.3.2 was installed.

My problem is I will charge it at home this weekend but cell service at home is terrible. I may have to charge her up then drive somewhere with great service and spend some time.

You might be on to something! I drove to the local brewery on lunch today and after grabbing some to-go beers for the weekend I came back to the truck and 3.5.4 had installed. It's only about 24 minutes to the brewery and I was in there maybe 10 minutes at most. I haven't played with the two phone feature yet but it will be handy as I have a separate phone for work. I'm really enjoying the full screen CarPlay environment though.

@Big Cam enjoy that full screen CarPlay! I'm betting you get 3.5.4 in the next day or two, that was my case and seems to be with many others.
