So maybe a dumb question are you seeing this update through the Fordpass app? I’m coming from having a 16 year old F150 so my new 2022 has more bells and whistles than it did.

Also how do you know which version you have of 3.X.X?

Glad to see you folks are having luck with OTAs

My dealer has tried to do FDRS updates unsuccessfully a few times now (also under the customer satisfaction program that ran until October). Haven't decided to pull the trigger on a mongoose yet... I don't think mine is fixable with just a USB drive either

it’s under settings in the head unit. it will tell you what you currently have. Fordpass app will tell you as well.

I just got 3.5.3 today. Will look tomorrow as to what Sync version I am at. I was at 22228 Rev 539. April 2021 build.

damn! i need to check to see if i got any updates haha i did have like a mile long terms and conditions page in ford pass i had to accept. seemed to be more related to ford pass though in general.

That feature was in the 3.5.3 update. I just got the 3.5.4 yesterday, and it's still there. I assume if you have 3.5.4, you've already gotten 3.5.3 and therefore have full screen for CarPlay and Android Auto.

It is not. The USB fix Jesse had come up with is no longer working, so he stopped making them for people. If your truck is indeed stuck, FDRS is your only choice. Unfortunately.

Check your Fordpass messages to see what was the last OTA you got. Sometimes your touchscreen will tell you the last you you got if you check for updates. You having a 2022 would only have gotten 3.5.2 and now 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 that is rolling out.

I just looked and I am now at 22293 Rev 610. Am I correct in assuming that the APIM update that was showing on FDRS last week is now removed? Or do I still have one more APIM update to go and I would be at 22294? Is this Sync version is 3.5.3.2?
