I drive 20 miles to work each day and park in an open air lot with full service of AT&T 5G. I left that lot this afternoon, drove 10 miles to a gas station, did the thing, and it installed. Coincidence or not, I'm happy.

I wouldn't have believed it if it didn't just work for me honestly. The update had no reason to not install 20 minutes before I tried it, but when I stopped to get gas I turned the lights off, set the parking brake and set the update timer to 5 minutes later, and when I got back into the truck...

The APK, itself, does not enable Coolwalk. You would also need Google to enable it on your device. Google has been applying to update a much faster pace the last few days.

Do you still have messages in your Ford Pass app that say you received a Power Up update? It should list what update you received in that message.

There are setting buried somewhere in the truck's menu (not in Ford Pass) that will auto-set the climate control. Cold weather does automatically turn on heated seats, for me at least.

I've always used "OK Google" to control my Spotify. With my phone in a cradle on the dash, I don't even have to push a button for it to activate. Does this not work with Amazon Music? I have no intention of even using Alexa but Google does everything I need (including home automation).

No, you do not have the Coolwalk UI, yet. It will look much different (you can google it to see examples). And yes, the few users on here that do have Coolwalk, have been able to do full-screen maps.

You, and millions others, are now waiting for Google to update your Android Auto to enable to new layout, nicknamed "Coolwalk". There is no work around without rooting your phone, at the moment. We are the mercy of Google flipping a switch on their end.

Most Android users are waiting for the Android Auto UI upgrade named "Coolwalk". This will allow for the custom app sizing and full-screen maps. Google has been very, very slow in rolling it out. You can search around the web to see the discussions.
