Tim B. just read a Ford memo on his live stream that starting Jan 26, the camera in the high-mounted stop lamp was being deleted with option 63R for a $175 credit. Applies to XLT and above trims that have the 360 camera package that have not been built. No word if it can be added back easily.

I heard about this a few days ago. Just barely made it with my 1/22 build but would have been quite upset had it been removed.

I hope I can squeeze by, I have a sticker and I’m scheduled for build on Sunday.

Based on Tim B, it might not squeeze through :(

21, 22 and 23 have all had things forced removed. Roll of the dice. Glad I got my build before this one

That’s a bummer. Mine had Sirius and Nav deleted (not a big deal) but also Auto Stop/Start deleted (which I’d like, I’m probsbly the only guy who wants it and it got deleted, haha!)

I do like the bed camera; only used it a few times but it was useful. I also like that it can operate while driving (unlike rear-view, I think).

Granted I agree this is stupid to remove, but what I find funny is the auto start stop removal is a $50 credit, and this is a $175 credit. The resolution on that camera looks like it's being filmed through a potatoe. I bet they are saving like $3 by not putting it in. So why take it out?

Still happy to have the potatoe cam over no bed cam at all.
