Thanks. Hopefully that means they know something.

My MY23 hit Granger Monday and I’m anxiously awaiting communication from their finance dept as they own the next step per
Savannah’s email(snippet below)...

“ Financing will be reaching out to you soon to finalize that part of the process. Please wait to arrange travel plans until then.”

The only thing I can think of at this point as I haven’t shipped yet is either two things:

1. They lacked a lot of information for me. Even though in the order sheet I signed and they scanned my license. This would make sense.

2. They are getting ahead of the curb and anticipating a ton of orders to flow through and they don’t want to get behind on getting information as it will delay them greatly from finance to sold /pickup, etc.

However it is odd with your truck being delivered, idk why they have not reached out yet… unless they have more info than what others have given. Idk.

I received an email today from Granger. this is the main part of it:

Please Read:

YOUR VEHICLE HAS NOT ARRIVED YET! We are sending out this email in hopes to make the financial process as smooth as possible once your vehicle arrives at the dealership! In order to ensure we have all accurate information for paperwork we ask you to verify your personal information using the link down below. Because we do not have all necessary information at this time, we cannot complete any paperwork or finalize any final pricing or payments until your vehicle has arrived, but any information we can gather before the arrival will make the process go quicker for everyone!

so I had to respond asking if this means my truck has been shipped and they are anticipating it soon. The last email I got from Ford was and ETA of 12/4 - 12/10. Ford tracker still has me as follows:

Ford F-150 10/24/22 - Build Week - MY 23 1670525565419

Order tracker stopped working for me today.

I am in the same boat. my dealer had expected it yesterday, have yet to hear from them, but I am fairly sure its not there. my Ford email said ETA 12/5 to 12/11. one day off yours.

At least Granger is proactive.

My bad for not just including the email… I had the same one to clear up any confusion.

Mine was built on Halloween but still not shipped, by the time I get it the cobwebs on it won't just be decorations.

Glad to see others getting some movement. I'm not really in a rush but I admit seeing others talk about getting there's peaks my interest and makes me antsy.

So here's my take... BTW my dealer didn't have a 2023 delivered. Just auto populated their inventory and showed in stock. But interestingly... and this is old news from before... my dealer's region has around 300 shops. My dealership is still receiving 2022's. So it again seems like if you avoid problems with your order and you avoid any commodity holds during scheduling and you avoid production delays and you avoid any QC/Chip holds once built and outside of any normal shipping delays with rail and/or convoy. It seems Ford has control over when they release 2023 vehicles by region and to dealers. Not sure yet how they drive the release of vehicles or how certain dealers get vehicles over others in different regions. But it seems they control the flow of vehicles out into the wild. This is aside from no other reason they should be held up. I can't think of any other reason Ford keeps changing the ETA to put off the delivery. Go ahead pin on shipping delays... but why would a company have a vehicle sit as a liability if not being told to do that. Again outside of any normal transport delays which is a convenient front right now. But given distance for those delivered... any reason they weren't as delayed as others. Anyways there is a big drop of deliveries happening throughout the US... but does anyone know are the deliveries centralized to an area around KC and/or MI outward to certain dealers by size, etc. based on analysis? Seems to an extent they are.

First time I’ve seen this one ... granger finance has reached out, so hopefully an early next week pick up.

I have seen this before. The other day I tried looking for dealers with ‘23s on the lot. Then I looked up the window sticker and looked at the order number…
