Lariat Black Appearance Package Question

Hello! Looking to get back into an F150 again. I had an ‘18 Lariat FX4, but not necessarily a fan of the new red interior. O one when I select the black appearance package, it seems to get rid of the red accents? Does anyone know if this is true?

The red interior is only the the Sport models. The BAP models have the black interior with gray piping/stitching.

I guess I should’ve sId I plan on getting the sport package too. So if you get the sport package, and the bl k appearance package, do you get the red accents or no?

No, you have to get the sport package either way. It's required for the black appearance package. But you do NOT get the red with the black appearance package (BAP).

The BAP package will supercede the Sport regarding the interior so you will get the black interior.

Yep. 502A high will get you what you are looking for.

501A mid will get you what you are looking for too.

I don’t think you can get the BAP on anything lower than the 502A

As others have said.. BAP removes the red accents in the cabin.. It also adds dark accents on the interior trim..

thought if you could get the BAP on the 302A. you get the leather with heat just no cooled seats

You are correct on both counts, hell you can even get the BAP on the 101A. It’s an STX BAP.

Unrelated, I had a 2018 STX and I loved that truck. it was much simpler without all the extras that my Lariat has but it was still great. I’m surprised you don’t see more STX’s on here tbh. Or at least the people buying them aren’t in the forums.

yep. BAP adds Sport, and NUKES the heinous red accent colors.

also to note. BAP with Max Tow forces you to get the Factory spray in liner which is way inferior to LineX imho.

Honestly, I hated the reddish brown interior when I first bought the truck. Now it has REALLY grown on me and I would seriously consider skipping the BAP if I bought again
