Chip hold My22 & My23

Update....I was pushed back again earlier this week for delivery. Order was 3/7/22 production started 8/18/22 built date was originally 8/30/22 then estimated delivery was 9/15. For some reason built date changed to 9/29 and delivery changed to 10/4 to 10/8. Every week its been pushed to the following week. As of today was told its supposed to arrive by 10/23, i doubt that'll happen. My wife's bronco started production on 10/20 shows built on 10/20 and is estimated to be delivered next week. Seems like she might get hers first (which make no sense). How does it take 3 weeks to ship a truck an hour north of the plant!! My dealer stated that if they do not receive it Monday morning they will request to pick it up themselves. I am not sure that this is even possible but we will see.

On a side note, I have called the marketing line several times and have been very patient and polite with them. I explained to the lady I spoke with today that I am without a vehicle and that we were switching from 2 GM trucks to Ford and that we were disappointed with the process (also reminded her that I am aware that its not her fault and that i feel bad for her because I'm sure she deals with angry customers daily). She put me on hold for 10 minutes or so and came back with a certificate number to give my dealer with an additional cash rebate. I don't know the amount but I sent it to the dealer to see what it is.

Ford marketing line told me mine would be delivered to dealer by 10/23 a few minutes ago. Not likely as it remains in awaiting shipment status!

today I was very close to picking up a tundra that has been sitting at my local dealer for the past 2 weeks. until my 10 year old daughter knocked some sense into me. here is how the conversation went.

Me: I am about to go buy a tundra tomorrow.

daughter: No, the F150 is better, it has under seat storage and no hump in the back.

Me: yeah but I am tired of waiting

daughter: you can wait longer it's not like you don't have a car.

Me: yeah but the tundra doesn't break down

daughter: Papi any car can break down

me: yeah you are right I'm just gonna wait for the F150

It's funny that sometimes you just need someone to tell you how irrational you are being at that moment. so it looks like ill be around for a little longer :)

I got the same after multiple calls. It was $1,000 and the dealer was able to see the money in a file under my truck.

There's been progress on my truck. My salesman called me this morning. He didn't really have anything concrete to say, but he did think there was movement. Well, okay, thanks. My truck still shows in production, but my module count looks to be right where it should be. Yesterday it was 1,069. Today it is 1,872. I've been comparing to my friend's MY21 and his was 1,849. I think my truck is good on modules. Hopefully it has all the badges! Anyhow, I might be getting my truck soon. Might.

While this stinks, and hopefully it holds, at least there is some communication with Ford.

Has she had that date change a bunch. I too have Corri and my last date was this Sunday but I don’t think it will hold

This is only the second time that she has given me a date, 10/7 and now 11/5. I know that she was preoccupied with the hurricane that hit Florida.

Hopefully she does not tell me 12/3 next (I see a potential pattern)

Was able to get an update after my recent status ETA of 10/19 passed; it was moved to 10/21-27, but is now just TBD. So not sure what that means, but I'm assuming nothing good. I'll just put it in my dealers hands at this point and see who they can contact regarding "TBD" and what that might mean.

I sent a email to these Ford executives today. Not expecting anything out of it. If they do have one of their flunkies answer it will most likely be the same BS that calling and chat gets us.
