This is probably my only regret on my order. I love that hood with the vents but I didn't want the 20in wheels. Thinking about how expensive it would be to just switch hoods eventually

Let’s hope. I was checking the module list daily and saw that it jumped from 950 to 1800. Once i saw the chip count jump up it was only a matter of time that it would jump to built which aligned with everything I’ve read on this site. Now it’s the waiting game for it to show up at the dealer. It’s going to be the longest wait of my life.

This is weird, the Blue car in this link doesn't have the hood vents but is definitely a blackout package car. Where as the grey does have them.

Here's my theory after emailing back and forth with this guy.

He provided me a picture of some tracking which he said was my truck.
I think the Kansas City Ford plant is overfilled with trucks and they have no open spots. I'm pretty sure they are utilizing a car dealer down the road called Adesa. The tracking this guy showed me would put the beginning location right near that spot, and heading north and ending at the Ford plant. Pretty sure this is all just smoke and mirrors to get me to be content with progress when all they are doing is just shuffling it from one pile to another.

That's possible as the grey one is an XLT, vs the blue being STX.

It’s there, look closely. It’s like hidden/camouflaged in the pictures due to color and reflection. All black packs get hood vents, except not sure about STX

I finally pickup up my truck yesterday, not without going through the Ford circus one last time. I called Ford yesterday morning and was told my truck was still sitting on Ramp 6K in Wentzville, MO, still waiting to be unloaded from a railcar. A little over a hour later I get a call from my dealer telling me the truck was delivered. The Ford tracker still had the truck in the "shipped "status. The side badges are just temporary, plain inserts. I signed a form from Ford that stated they will replace the original ones for free when they come available. I also got a $200 credit for the XM radio removal.

I ordered the BAP package strickly for the interior changes. I did not want yellow accents and clay colored dash and door parts.

I don’t like the BAP grille and am looking at other options. The hood vents are cool however I wish they were not the textured plastic.

I’m joining the chip hold club.
Ordered in February, scheduled for the last official production week of MY22. Production follow-up stalled. Get confirmation this morning that I’m under chip hold.

I will be mad if I receive a 2022 truck in 2023.
