09/19/22 Build Week -- Final Delivery

Mine continues to roam around the midwest. Suffolk showed it made it all the way to St Louis, but then for some reason went back to IL. Got an updated delivery window of 10/18-10/24.

That seems insane. I hope my truck passes on the free tour of the US.

My big update is that the Ford Pass app now shows a picture of my truck on the home screen. No other noticeable updates of any kind. When I ordered in February, I was very naively hoping to get it before the summer. I hope that I'm not naively thinking I might get it late November or early December (a week to complete production, two weeks waiting to ship, two weeks getting shipped, and some time at the dealership getting ready for delivery).

I hope you are right. Tomorrow will be three weeks waiting to ship for me. I’m in Indiana so hopefully shipping from Dearborn won’t take long once it’s on the way.

my truck was delivered today. Order date 03/03/22 production 09/13/22 built 10/6/22 and delivered 10/21/22 to Alberta canada from Dearborn. 2022 f-150 tremor 402a

Yes, I have a VIN and the truck is on "chip hold". The last VVR estimated it would be off chip hold on October 28 - November 4. This was a delay from October 18. Now the end of November is looking questionable.

Hopefully it will get rolling and finally get built. At least since you have a VIN you are guaranteed a 2022 Model year.

I picked up my truck this morning and love it!
This is my first f150 and had completed the order online, so there were a couple of options I had thought I was getting, but I was wrong. Nothing major but:

1. Built in tailgate step, I had thought this was standard in LT but I guess no longer is (or never was?)
2. I ordered the "power tailgate lock", not the "power tailgate". I can drop the tailgate automatically but have to lift it myself. I'll get over it!
3. I only have privacy tint on rear windows. Front side are clear. I had thought I was getting ceramic all round

I dont think I would have paid extra for 1 or 2, but I will get ceramic tint done as I'm in Texas.
Pleasantly surprised that even with 502a, 7.2kW, and 4 wheel drive, cargo weight limit / payload is an impressive 1646lbs. I have a travel trailer so this is important.

Surprisingly, we've all heard of the chip shortage, but there is also a F150 badge shortage!
I had to sign that there's no F150 badges on the sides and can return to dealership to collect when back in stock.
