On Chip Hold now, 'expected' release week of 10/3. I won't hold my breath. Hoping for a miracle that I get this before the holidays.

Q - On Chip Hold, does that means the truck is essentially built to order awaiting chips, or the truck is on hold to be blended when the chips become available?

I’ll bet you a $1 that on 10/3 ford tells you that your order is still on hold and your new ETA is 10/31. Fast forward a few more chip delays and it’s now 2032 and your truck is ready,

Is it just the Lariet & XLT trim levels that are shipping out from this build week? I haven’t seen much activity or movement of the higher trims levels and it seems like the Lariet and XLT’s are the only trucks shipping out.

Zero movement since my blend of 8/29 and I have a pretty basic 501A PB so, I don’t think it has anything to do with the trim.
I’d say the deeper you’re parked in the field the more shit out of luck you are.

Zero movement since my blend of 8/29 and I have a pretty basic 501A PB so, I don’t think it has anything to do with the trim.
I’d say the deeper you’re parked in the field the more shit out of luck you are.

Yeah I’d have to agree with your theory. My order is a 701a with the 5.0l and no movement. I was excited when I initially placed my order at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately with everything going on,

Yeah I'd have to agree with your theory. I'm going to give it another week or two and if there isn't any movement on my order I will more than likely start looking at other options. This entire process has killed any and all excitement I once had when I originally placed my order. Now i'm just frustrated and defeated.

Yea, I fill like I'm going to be shit out of luck as mine was a dealer order I put a down payment on months ago. Since the blend date is March 21st it is most likely sitting back against some wall somewhere. I will say I'm willing to wait as it only has the deleted park assist and will have the contour seats with massage.

Its unfortunate you can't see what part they claim is holding you up but have you talked to ford chat at all? When they gave me my date of getting off chip hold it was actually correct but I know it doesn't pan out for everyone that way. Did you get a bedliner? I noticed Ford leaves you "in production" during chip holds and the bed liner install instead of marking you as built early like they were doing to all of the earlier builds.

If you were to look at people being built in March for example, they were marked built the day after production but still had to sit the chip hold.

Have you tried adding the truck to ford pass or look up the modules? By now I would safely say the truck is built and you are just waiting on the final piece(s)

I've spoken to chat and the 800 number and both have not provided any significant feedback as to when it'll arrive outside of maybe the 24th, maybe the 30th, or maybe the 3rd. So its anyone's guess as to when it'll show up.

I did get the spray in bed liner which might be holding it up but i doubt it.

In that case have you tried the dealer route? I think chat might give generic info if you ask a generic question. I'd push a little more specific like "has my truck moved offsite for the spray in bed liner yet"
try to narrow it down a little bit, worth a shot.

Your dealer can also pull the same tracking report that ford chat does so send them both a message simultaneously and try to get some answers.
People used to say adding the bed liner added 60 days to the order but I don't know if that's still relevant or accurate. Personally I left the spray in off since I'm doing a bed rug.

I received an email from the general manager from the dealership I am working with. Once I got that I used it to email him directly about getting a VVR and just getting an idea of what the hold up is on a truck taking 10 months from being ordered. He had the "Master Certified Sales" guy call me.

He provided me with a VVR and told me that the truck already is back from getting the bed liner put in and now on chip delay. ETA is OCT 3, so we will see.

Same here, pretty sure I have the same blend date, 501a powerboost, has not changed status, no activate button in the app. Missed the entire camping season ?
