You won't get your window sticker till a few days before your build. You should get your VIN a week or so after you dealer submits order, PROVIDED he has allocations.

Looks like KCM is working on MKD 38xxx and 39xxx cars now.
Seeing a lot of popping up.

Can we assume these VINs are sequential as you've suggested? I ordered 9/17/20, got a VIN around Christmas, and no update since then. Tracker still says "in order processing" and I'm waiting from an update from the dealer.

Hard to find a pattern. I ordered on 10/20 and have a build date of 1/30 (tomorrow!). Mine is a SuperCab so perhaps they take a different path through part of the factory.

Not sequential—I just noticed quite a few 38xxx showing up here.
I’ve had my VIN since dec 1., so I guess the early orders are starting to come out

Bryan is right, they are not produced sequentially. The blend number is though

Nope, you should have a VIN by now and maybe more. I ordered on 1/16 as well. My dealer got me my VIN a week later and a build date of 2/19.

Ask your salesman for the VIN and the build date. I ordered 1/11/21. I had my VIN about a week later with a build week of 3/1/21. I now have a build date of 3/2/21.

I also ordered 1/11/21. Just sent a txt to my salesman a few days ago and he said there is no VIN yet. It's a smaller dealership so I assume they don't have available allocation yet.

I ordered around the first week of December and it took over a month to get a VIN. I still don't have a window sticker. They told me the build date was Feb 22 but that might have been pushed back with the plant closure. Nothing shows up in the tracker regarding build date.
