tongue-in-cheek here; it’s only a Toyota. You’re getting a finely crafted F-150 Tremor that will be painstakingly inspected, not just merely hosed down off the truck and presented as ready for delivery.

In all seriousness, however, it seems as though Granger truly does make sure everything is top-notch on delivery for their nationwide clientele.

Adding to the heap here. I got an email that my truck had a VIN and was scheduled to be built week of 7/18, it was in production on 7/21, built on 7/22, and expected to arrive at Granger between 7/26 and 8/1 (my truck was built in KC). I checked status yesterday on 7/26 and it was at Granger and in final preparation. Ashleigh at Granger emailed me the same afternoon and said they need about a week and an half to finish prep. So from built to earliest delivery for me is about 2 weeks. I can't pick it up quite that quickly, so if you are at Granger picking up yours, wave the the Race Red SuperCrew with the 6.5' bed for me.
Are they pretty flexible on when you're able to make it out there to pick it up? Depending on when mine comes in, I may be out of the country for a honeymoon :ROFLMAO: Hopefully they'll be understanding!

I'm guessing it also has to do with how many vehicles they're getting in at once compared to the Toyota dealer you got the 4Runner from. I know a week and half seems long but in the grand scheme of things, we've waited MONTHS so a week and half won't kill us ?

I hope so. What say you @GrangerChip ? For my part, I will be traveling for a funeral around the time it is ready. Then I may be out of country for a few weeks of work travel. How flexible are you with pickup time frames?

Hmm. My deal is a little simpler so I'm hoping it can be a little faster than that. And they can skip the tire shine
Looks mine landed at granger last weekend. Per chip they had 40 trucks arrive over two days. They go through service, checking for recalls etc. hoping to hear from them soon on pickup dates.

They are flexible with your pick up date. I picked one vehicle up in April, they gave us about 3 weeks from the time they received it, so we could arrange time off from work. Still have 2 more to pick up, one in production and the other is still waiting for scheduling. All 3 ordered in December 2021. I had originally hoped to get all 3 vehicles in one trip, but that hasn't worked out well, at all.

@Mateo_Hams @aybe09 You get 30 days to pick it up from the day of arrival. I imagine it becomes an issue after that because they likely have to pay some interest since they have to pay the invoice to Ford.

My truck will need two recalls performed once it reaches Granger. One is the trailer brake module reprogram which can be done without dependencies but the second is the steering wiring harness recall that needs a wiring harness to be ordered and then installed.

I imagine that would add a few days delay.

I know you’re joking but buying a Ford after all these years of driving Toyotas has be pretty nervous haha. But there shouldn’t be much to do besides peeling some plastic off, running it through the wash and shining the tires.

I get it, new brand jitters. From what I’ve read on here, Granger seems to be very thorough to make sure the truck is defect/damage free. Add their high volume of vehicles together with any kind of staffing issues and I can see them quoting 1.5 weeks.

I saw on a different thread here a guy picked up his truck and it had factory paint drips in the wheel well/arch. From the pictures he posted, it should’ve been caught right away.

I hope it moves quicker for you! You’re in the home stretch!

They get trucks in batches of 20 and sometimes those days are consecutive. It's not that each truck takes so much time, it's the sheer volume.

Mine will be ready Monday. That's less than the 1.5 weeks they quoted.

Granger was really flexible with me on a collection date as I was in between business trips and with a flight there and a 1000 mile drive home, I was limited on when I could collect it. I basically picked the day and time and Granger agreed. As long as the PDI is completed, I am sure they will work with you.

They don't have to be flexible with me, I'll sleep under the closest bridge when its time. It will be like 9 months all in all it seems like at this rate. My body is ready. So far I am still getting pushed back though.

I have a supplemental theory on the 10 day prep. Many of the trucks have been sitting and updates have come out since their manufacture. I'm thinking they are required to do updates and certainly any recalls before sale. Updates don't always go smoothly from what I hear...
