If there is something (other than covering them) that will improve them, I haven't found it yet...and I've tried everything from Meguiar's PlastiX to Polishing Compound to Waxes to various Trim Restoration products. I am not sure how they are made but suspect the swirls may actually be under the top most coating layer.

I see the Interweb says to tape off around them and go after them with a correction compound and orbital so maybe I just haven't been aggressive enough. I'll try that route. If I ruin them I'll cover them.
So your pillars were scratched up too. I just don't get this. Thanks for the info. I'll probably try to cover them. Of course my sales rep forgot to tell me that the pillars would arrive scratched when I placed my order. My rear leather seats arrived scratched up and they did recover the bench but no go on the pillars.

I'm handwashing with foam cannon and they still look like crap. They are scratched when they leave the plant.
Yep! As I said earlier, the VW I traded in had perfect pillars even after many trips through the car was with brushes. Not sure how Ford lets this happen.

My pillars were in good shape when I took delivery. Didn’t take long to start getting scratched.

I used this.

They scratch crazy easy. Mine were awful after going through my dealer’s auto wash.
I used OCDPlug’s black pillar protectors and couldn’t be happier with them
How was the install? Their video makes it look easy. I currently have their 12” screen protector, but have not purchased the ppf for b pillars.

I have them on my truck and the install is easy, I think easier than the screen protector. This was one of the first mods I did, I had a 2016 before this and I hated the swirl marks. Couldn’t be happier with these.

I also have them, super easy to install. Just following the online video take your time, use lots of spray and the swirl marks and scratches are gone, for good. I have the 12" screen protector as well from them. THAT is a great purchase, no more finger prints, no glare. Perfect IMO.

that sticker gets you like +15% on resale value!
Have the option but, not the sticker.
That being said, I believe having the sticker plastered on the side allows the truck to scale Everest.
I will probably never do any off roading in my Fx4. I bought it simply because I thought it rode better on pavement compared to the regular 4x4. Bonus if it helps resale value.

The sticker also improves ride quality. It's science.

Mine were only a little bit scratched from the factory, but they look like crap now 4 weeks later. Think at this point the wind even scratches them.
