Question for those who have taken delivery. How long did you truck take to get from Kansas City to Granger? My traincar should be getting to KC this morning(if it's not there already) and I am really hoping I can fly in to pick it up Thursday. Realistic or nah?

Hey! It took a day for my truck to arrive at Granger after leaving KC. (My truck was built in KC though). However, when the Sales person reached out to me after it had Arrived, I was informed it would take at least a week for them to complete the PDI due to the number of vehicles they are currently receiving.

Oh well that's good news. I asked the same question on the Tremor forum and some guys took almost a month from KC to Granger, but I think a huge number of trucks came in all at once back then.

Picked up my Lariat on Friday from Granger..

Lots of really positive reviews, so I thought in the interest of fairness, I would post a very awkward experience I had.

Got there at like 3:30 and met Chip. Great guy. He showed me my truck real quick. From there he walked me into the finance office where I met Shelby. I had spoken to her over the phone previously.

After a few moments of pleasantries, she took a second to print out some paperwork. She repeated the same dollar figure we spoke of on the phone and asked if I had my cahiers check in that amount. I did. I gave it to her. She then had me sign a form once and initial twice. She thanked me graciously.

This is where it got uncomfortable.

I sat there. In the chair. Waiting. Uncomfortable silence. Waiting.

I was waiting for the upsell. I was waiting for the pitch. I was waiting for the duel. I was mentally prepared to be worn down.

Nothing but a smile and a simple request to spread the Granger love from Shelby.

I literally took ownership of the vehicle from the finance office in less than 15 minutes. The elapsed time between when my Uber arrived and when I was driving off the lot was 45 minutes or less.

If you are "old school" and unable to mentally handle this, I would suggest steering clear of Granger. If you want to be treated like a professional, save ~10K or so, and not waste a moment of their time or yours, DO IT.

If you are on the fence and your local dealer tells you that "outfits like that" aren't legit and there is no way they can sell at that price, take the leap, and refuse to be treated unfairly. It's the real deal.

Thanks @Granger Ford @GrangerChip

(I'll be posting pics tonight in the AMB club)

Well this is disappointing. Personally I love a good battle of wits with the Finance Manager. When I bought my wife's 4runner last week, as soon as the FM started his pitch, my wife picked up the baby and walked out (she hates hearing me talk to people like she knew I was about to). She popped back in after 10 minutes and said to me, "well did he try his best?" Fortunately the FM had a good sense of humor and just laughed.

Mine took a day to get from KC to Granger and then Granger emailed me 6 days ago and said it'd be 1.5 weeks.

Shelby and I are emailing back and forth right now about financing and scheduling a time to pick it up.

Hmm. My deal is a little simpler so I'm hoping it can be a little faster than that. And they can skip the tire shine

New to this forum but want to express my appreciation. Ordered from Granger Ford last week and my truck is on order for the advertised 3% under invoice with NO hassle! Saving $7K by taking a trip to Iowa over every local dealer that I talked to. If all goes as expected, I will surely do business with them again!

I am finally scheduled, but I have to share this story with someone because it's one of the most surreal things to ever happen to me.

I ordered on 1/14. Up until today I was not scheduled. I've been looking at picking up a used Ram to tide me over until the Tremor comes in. Been really hard to find one, but I finally found one. I was on the phone with the dealer, finalizing the credit info and everything. I was literally about to read him my CC number to put down a deposit and DING, I get my email from Ford for scheduling on 9/19.

I literally started laughing and said "Dude, you're not going to believe what just happened."

I think Ford might have my house bugged.

Even crazier it was 7:21PM EST on a freaking Monday. I would have never ever expected it.

I guess the universe really didn't want me in a Ram.

Adding to the heap here. I got an email that my truck had a VIN and was scheduled to be built week of 7/18, it was in production on 7/21, built on 7/22, and expected to arrive at Granger between 7/26 and 8/1 (my truck was built in KC). I checked status yesterday on 7/26 and it was at Granger and in final preparation. Ashleigh at Granger emailed me the same afternoon and said they need about a week and an half to finish prep. So from built to earliest delivery for me is about 2 weeks. I can't pick it up quite that quickly, so if you are at Granger picking up yours, wave the the Race Red SuperCrew with the 6.5' bed for me.

A week and a half!?!

I picked up my wife’s 4Runner last week the same day it rolled off the truck!
