I know you can pull the fuse for the AMP and that can be a bit of a challenge given the situation. Just a note the amp is located on the back wall behind driver side rear seat. You can buy a pull tab to make it easier to fold that seat from ebay for about $15. once the seat is folded you can unplug the amp very easily. Just incase versus having to try and find the fuse in the kick panel.

This same thing happened to me, loud pop, followed by the loudest static in the world. Volume knob was stuck at 0 and clicking the power for the stereo did nothing. Turning the truck off, opening and closing the driver door stopped the noise. But starting the truck again immediately started it again. I thought it might be connected to my phone because it happened around the same time android auto connects so I restarted my phone and that seems to have fixed it. Booked service for this Friday. 2022 powerboost platinum with the b&o sound system. Ears are still ringing as I write this. I'm scared to drive it anywhere at this point because of how jarring it is. Ford absolutely needs to look into this. Sounds to me like it's an issue with the upgraded sound system, and may or may not be related to Android auto and Apple car play.

Is it the regular B&O or the upgraded unleashed system doing it? For sure a major safety issue.

Same exact truck, identical thing happened to me last night. I drive this truck for work now I’m scared to drive it at all. Also I tow a trailer all day. I can’t imagine what’s going to happen when this issue starts up when I’m on the highway with my trailer. I hope I don’t get in an accident from it scaring me so much. I can’t believe I am scared to drive my 3 month old 85 thousand dollar truck.

Exactly!! I'm sure this has to be a tough one for Ford to root cause but man I hope they figure it out soon. Definitely a bad situation. So far mine hasn't done it again but like others said, I'm just waiting for it still every time I drive the thing.

Hello all, I am new here.

I am having the same issue with my 2022 Tremor, this happens when i turn on the car at least 5 times since i bought the truck in Jan.

I also finded if you switch the audio source from satellite radio to am/fm the noise goes away, but the sounds within the car (turn signal, etc) goes back to using the backup system, not from speakers until i totally shut down the car.

I have little kids and it is very stressful for them while this issue happens.

Like others, it is very concerning that this can happen while driving.

I'll record a video next time it happens.

So unfortunately the Dealer visit went about as expected. They told me that they were unable to replicate the problem and they would need to do that in order to do anything. They "reinstalled" the latest update and sent me on my way. Total waste of time. Ford corporate did reach out via phone to see what the dealer did and when I said they did nothing they asked me if I was satisfied with that, lol. Supposedly a case was created, I requested a sync software engineer be made aware and the customer service rep didn't really know how to respond. Good luck everybody.

For anyone just tuning in, based off of the information provided so far in various other forums I follow, The issue seems to be affecting any truck with the B&O unleashed speaker system. I also believe it takes place when the truck is attempting connection to android auto or apple car play, but that is still a question mark.

So far the way I have been able to mitigate this is by starting the truck and verifying connection of android auto, playing music through android auto and when that starts then I start driving. I feel like that is the moment of failure and if you get past that you have a higher likelihood of a safe drive.

Trying to get the word out to anyone with these high end trucks to hopefully save them (and any children with developing ears) from the absolutely ridiculous amount of damage this sound system can do.

I turned the truck on and off several times and remembered partially reading this post, so I pulled my back seat down and unplugged the two connectors from the amp. That finally stopped it. Plugged them back in started truck everything was fine.... WTH. I recorded it as well and my ears are still ringing 4 hours later...
