When I saw the co-pilot assist Forscan thread, I was like “no way”, then the mad lads did it…

I’m surprised to see this feature being removed, but I think it may have something with Ford starting with Android Automotive and the coming death of SYNC.

Yeah they are either much smarter than me or have a lot more time.

And no fear of bricking their truck.

ESP will cover that right? ?

Wisdom is knowing when you don’t know.

Most people don’t know that, but once they do, they tend to know a lot more.

I don’t get it. Didn’t they already have a active park assist delete but you could keep bluecruise? What exactly are they deleting now that wouldn’t enable you to have bluecruise?

Ok pal, whatever you say. Your little narrative does not match the real world experience in different markets for other consumer products.

Oh wow, a published CNBC article said it, so it must be true. Intel isn’t even having any major issues with supply right now. At least not on the consumer purchase side of things.
He’s just making blanket statements about the industry.

Co-pilot Active is basically BlueCruise and according to Fords website. It uses a forward facing camera to read speed limit signs and a driver facing camera to make sure the driver is paying attention.

The only real component difference between adaptive cruise and bluecruise is the SODCMC, SODCMD, CMR, Passenger Side Driver Monitor IR Led, Driver Side Driver Monitor Led, Driver Status Monitor Camera.

The forward facing camera is the IPMA camera above the rear mirror. Same camera used for lane keep assist also. Its not part of the 360 cameras. The driver facing camera is also not part of the 360 cameras.

So maybe 360 camera “isn’t” required for copilot Active, but I guarantee you won’t find a copilot Active truck without the 360 cameras.
