Still showing awaiting shipment for me on order track and when I called Ford directly today. I have a feeling that it is waiting for something and I am going to end up on hold. I saw in some previous build weeks that people would get the build email, and then on the VVR sit in the awaiting shipment status then end up going on plant hold. Hoping I get that shipped status soon but the longer this keeps going the more I think I am on hold and it just hasn't updated to a hold yet

That's how mine was, they sent me the built email but trackers all showed in production, chatted with Ford and they said I was on a chip hold buy would be off early that day. Around noon both trackers updated to built/awaiting shipment. Dealer told me at that point I had no holds showing. Still could pop back up, but ice only been awaiting shipment for a day and half now so I won't get too excited yet. I'm also chipping via rail out of Dearborn if that makes any difference.

Update: Almost exactly 24 hours later I got an email that my truck has shipped and has an June 5 to June 11 ETA.
That's a relief, maybe there is some truth to Ford now giving us worst case scenario rather than constantly pushing things back??

Maybe they shouldn’t have wasted all that money on Rivian and instead should have invested in their bread-and-butter product supply.

I am well and truly pissed. I ordered this disaster on March 31 2021 !2021! 14 months now. Joke.

Was excited over the weekend when this jalopy showed in production, got modules, got the activate button to work. Looked good.

Now it’s been ‘In Production’ since last Friday in Dearborn (Friday the 13th!) and based on what I see here looking into the fall. WTF?

Here in Canada Ford doesn’t send emails and if you want info you are at the mercy of your dealer (mine is horrible). Thank goodness for the TrackerApp.

Does anyone have a link where we can chat with ford Canada customer service?

Sorry for the rant.
I ordered Jan 2022 and I am starting to consider Plan Bs. I can't imagine the rage surging through your body. If I am not too bold, what is keeping you in the game? Why are you still hanging on and have not jumped ship yet? Lack of viable back up options?

Edit: I meant to include that I am not looking at the end of September. Ridiculous.

you guys have got to help us out, us in the next week(s). Please make sure the tracker is updated with your status, I'm begging you. Sounds like yesterday was a very tumultuous day, but it is easing out for the most part. Maybe the ICE F-150 builders ran over to the Lightning plant and stole back the wiper motors and "cruise control chips" that we needed.

You can try Ford Canada's Facebook page. I messaged them and they told me that it was awaiting shipment (which I already knew), and told me that the approx. end date for this state was May 15, 2022, but is subject to change.

May 15th has come and gone, with no change - so I assume I am in chip hold purgatory and will be in "Awaiting Shipment" indefinitely

Where is the tracker to update? Is it the globe icon up top?

Fair question.

I was driving a paid-for Nissan Murano. Good car, no payments. No pressure to get something ASAP. I got a good deal on the truck so I figured I’d wait it out because the alternatives were just looking worse and worse the longer this went on.

However, I finally killed the CVT transmission in the Nissan (no rebuilds on that mess, gotta put in a new one-not worth it) which sucks because the rest of the vehicle is in awesome shape.

it was always just a couple of months more. ‘Rolling Delay’ we call it in the airline business. If I’d have known it would be a year+ at the outset of course I would not have done it.

But…

The biggest reason I’m not walking away is because my dealer and salesperson is such an asshole that I refuse to walk away and give them this truck. They would make a killing selling it to someone else for above MSRP. Even if I don’t want it I’ll take delivery and then unload it.

So, yeah, spite and no better deals being available.

Oh man that was the best answer I could have hoped for. Respect. That is kind of where I am right now too although my dealer is not an asshole. I am so worried about where this ends. What happens if I stick it out and wait till September and just get pushed again. I will go catatonic.

This is what I am thinking, my dealer told me 1-2 more weeks and the email from Ford said September. Maybe they have changed how they handle them.

Same here. It sucks if i walk away now I wont get the truck I ordered and want unless I want to pay 14k more.

But I called Ford and the dealer to see about a truck that os a 2021 that was built 1/7/22 and its "awaiting shipping" 4 months after being built just awaiting shipping. Its a 2021 for heavens sake and they are going to start taking 2023 orders lol

2022 F-150 Tremor (on order)
Hi guys - long time lurker, first post. Have a Tremor 402a on order.

Order date: 12/20/2021 (from Granger)
VIN date: 4/14/22
Window Sticker date: 5/3/22
Build week: 5/2/22 Pushed to 5/9/22
Blend date: 5/9/22
Modules populated and "Activate" button working in Ford app: 5/10/22

Still "In Production" today, so I contacted Ford chat and they stated that it is on chip hold with an estimated completion date of 5/26 - 6/1. More likely I've been hit by the wiper issue, my sequence number (550) is close to Payup.

The intel on this forum is amazing, but I'm pulling my hair out at this point...
Called the Ford Marketing number this morning since it seems like they have been giving the most thorough updates -- I was told that my ETA to come off of chip hold has been pushed back to 9/28 - 10/4.

This is insanity.
