Hi

any idea how to make air circulation not switching off while driving?
I noticed that some time the air circulation switch off and the fan increased for a time specially while driving on the highway.

There has been a whole thread dedicated to this, no one has solved it to my knowledge. Another case of our devices deciding they are smarter than us and not letting us do what we know we want to do.

This disables the “Enhanced Windshield Anti Fogging Strategy” which is the primary cause of the recirculation turning off.

Hello, is there anyone within the NY or tri-state area who can help with some Forscan work for me?
I am new to all this, do not have the correct equipment and the local dealers that I have dealt with have no idea about any of these options that can be changed. Mainly DTE (fuel tank), Guage reading etc.

When trying to change the value an error shows:
"Service procedure has been interrupted"
Keep in mind im using the latest firmware of forscan (.47) and OBDlink EX (22 of March).
Any help will be appreciated.

Most likely your module HVAC software version is not included in this release of forscan.

You can try the beta release: https://forscan.org/download/FORScanSetup2.4.6.test20220426.exe

or

send a log file to forscan and they can develop a test version for you.

edit to add: this is fairly common as forscan is always playing catch-up as Ford continually releases different software versions which may have not yet made it to the forscan development team.

Since the truck knows when the tailgate is open, Is there any way to tie the bed lights into the courtesy lights? It would be nice if the bed lights came on when you open the tailgate.

Got my cable into today. so went out play with the program. Got everything backed up but one module. I enabled the "Full DRL" mode. That may now be my favorite feature. Truck definitely stands out now.

So I musing a Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It has a 4k display. Forscan is not 4K friendly. Radio buttons are the size of half a gnat. the sliders are even smaller. The tip of my stylis is bigger than most buttons\sliders. So beware of buying a 4k laptop/tablet. Be prepared for tiny window buttons!!

Can't you go to the Surface Settings > Display menu and lower the screen resolution just when running Forscan?

I can confirm this works, recirc stayed on for 8 hours today and never once turned off. Thank you very very much.

I went to disable the pedestrian alert speaker. I had a "4" set that to a "0"

Speaker still works? Does it take a while to work?

You need to follow the rest of the instructions and unplug the PACM as well

Is there a new instruction? The one I have says as follows:

" If your default is 4 change to 0, if default is 5 change to 1 AND disconnect PACM under the glove box "

I was a 4. So I shouldn't have to unplug the module under this instruction.

The way it should read is

If your default is 4 change to 0, if default is 5 change to 1

AND disconnect PACM under the glove box

The second applies to either of the changes in the first line
