SOLVED: For the life of me, I cannot program my HomeLink to open my garage door.

Has anyone had an issue with programming their Homelink? I have had nothing but headaches programming my garage door opener, my son's door, and my daughter's door. I have followed the instructions in the manual but my daughter's garage door will not program. Any thoughts, comments.

I don’t know about the listing of this being solved, but I solved my problem.

I followed the procedure and could not get mine to work either. My 2019 F150 worked and my wife’s 2019 Fusion worked. The dealer couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong.

while trying it again today, I did the standard procedure and immediately did the rolling code procedure. It worked! You have to do both procedures back to back. Why can’t they tell you that in the manual?

I had been trying them both but I would clear the memory between the two different ways.

Exactly as I said in post #14 - the process needs to be repeated for some reason, I wish it was written in the guide. Glad you were finally able to program it.
And the range is pretty long too, I tried it from about 200-250 yards away.

I had tried to set this up a couple of weeks ago, using both procedures, and nothing worked, so I resigned myself to just using the old remote clipped to the visor. It didn't occur to me that I should try both procedures back-to-back, but it worked. Thanks!

I tried programming Homelink on my new F150 multiple times and was unsuccesful using the above videos and instructions. I've got a Liftmaster garage door opener that uses rolling codes and found this video to be clear and concise. Finally got it to work!

Even though it's written that way in the manual, the procedures don't seem to be an either/or process; you need to do both back-to-back. At least, that's what worked for me.

I am TOTALLY stumped. I went to the dealer. Programmed the shop door to my Homelink with their remote within seconds...JUST like my 2018. SO, it's NOT the truck!

I tried what was in post #14 and the back-to-back method like in post #19. STILL nothing.

I'm going to look for the signal repeater and keep on scrounging the Google machine until I get this thing. Since this one has the batter backup, I'll replace that too.

Odd thing is, the remote doesn't seem to be working as well as it used to. I changed the battery in it and that didn't help. Maybe I'll replace that too.

This is FUN!
