I recently changed from a 502a to a 302a with copilot assist 2.0. The changes went through with no issues and according to ford chat my order is “clean” with no restrictions. Does that mean my order will be fine and still be scheduled even though that 2.0 restriction is there?
Sorry, I found out this morning that the Co- Pilot assist 2.0 only affects stock units.

So it's adaptive steering no longer a commodity restraint? It are they just May updates to the list?
New retail orders with adaptive steering on king ranch & platinum will no longer be available if ordered after 03/28. Hope this helps

Thank you, not to sound redundant, but in the face of financing (with my bank) they would have the title until the lien is paid off. What would happen in this instance?

You will receive a 15 day transit tag from Granger Motors, this is JUST to get you out of Iowa. You can not go to your DMV until you receive the title from Granger Motors. We will send the MCO to our county to get an IN-TRANSIT title which takes about 3-4 weeks, this means the 15 day tag that you would received from us will expire. Once we receive the title we will overnight it to you with an additional 30 day tag from our county. You need to check with your state on the tags, some states DO NOT recognize tags from other states. Make sure you have your purchase agreement in the vehicle with you in case you get pulled over, most instances you have 30 days from the time of sale to get your vehicle registered. Also, make sure the DMV makes a title with your lien holder on it and send that to the lien holder.
Zach, Can't you folks just give the out-of state buyer a temp/transit tag along with the original Certificate of Origin for a New Vehicle?

Feb 2 Order: 22 Lariat 500A/3.5 EB/FX4/Max Tow/+
May Allocation Update:

Our May allocation has recently been released and I wanted to share the news!

We have been allocated 54 F-150's for the month of May to be built in June. Out of our April Allocation, 21 have been scheduled and 44 remain. This leaves a total of 98 unscheduled F-150's to receive VINs by the end of may with our allocation. Currently we have 210 active orders at this time.

If Ford were to go in sequential order, All orders up to February 2nd, would receive a VIN by the end of May. Please keep in mind that due to constraints and many other factors, that this is very unlikely, but should give you an idea of what to expect. Once Ford has determined which F-150's they're going to build, Ford will contact those customers by email with their VIN and scheduled build week.

Current commodities to be aware of and should be removed or you risk not having your F-150 scheduled for 2022,

Per Ford:
Please be aware of the current product optimization actions (EFC09899 & EFC09922)
Start/Stop Removal
Active Park Assist Removal

All Granger Motor's customers have been contacted regarding this issue.

I hope this gives you a good understand as to what to expect the next few months.
Zach,

Given the April results indicating only 32% of the allocations were scheduled, what does your experience tell you is most likely to happen in May (impacts of POAs on individual orders not withstanding)? Just to maybe put a touch of reality here?

32% of May's allocation, or 17 units from April scheduled, kicking April's remaining 27 and May's full 54 unit allocations further down the road?

32% of the total allocations (98) scheduled, 32 units, kicking 66 allocations further down the road?

100% of the May's allocation, 54 units, kicking 44 allocations further down the road?

100% of the total allocations through May (98) scheduled making everyone with confirmed orders before February 2nd ( which excludes me ) happy campers?

Ralpl,

On my order, Granger specifically noted, in red, that their only fees are a doc fee of 180 and a transit tag fee of 45.

@Granger Ford
I appreciate the information Zach, very insightful.

Question I have is, considering I have a 2.7 EB 4x2 on order with Granger that it is impossible to remove the Auto Start/Stop, is it unlikely that my truck will be built any time soon?

I am asking as I may consider changing to 4x4 and removing Auto Start/Stop if that was the case to get my truck earlier.

That's how it worked for me with Zach's friend Tom who owns Chapman Ford of Horsham PA. Doc fee (higher at $422) and temp/transit tag for $34. I'll get hit for the sales tax and registration fees when I take the Certificate of Origin and Bill of Sale to the FL DMV.

I read that Zach said out-of-state buyers had to receive an Iowa in-transit title. Seemed like an extra step I didn't have to do in PA.

I wish there was some more transparency from Ford. I have a January order which I changed from a Lariat to an XL at the beginning of April. I was hoping this would speed up my build process to get the truck faster but I'm wondering if this got me stuck now with an April order date instead.

Changing trim or engine causes your truck to bet reinvoiced. I was told changing either of those basically resets your order...

I believe its likely your order date is now April and you also were subject to the Feb price increase.

Granted you went down in trim levels so the XL truck cost will still be less.

Change of trim levels does cancel out your price protection. I went from lariat 502a with BAP ordered 11/9 to a KR 601a on 1/5 and was hit with the December increase.

I am protected from 1/5 until delivery now as it won't change any further.

I also changed my 502a order to an XLT 302a right before the April price increases. From what I understood since Chip was able to keep my original order code/sales code my place in line (ordered 12/24) remained the same but my priority was dropped from 2 to 10 which was needed to make the changes. So I want to say you would have kept your place in line just at a lower priority. I think I heard Ford scheduled more higher trims lately and not many lower trims so that may be why you I haven't been picked up.
