Just dropped the truck off! They will work on it first thing tomorrow morning. Hope all goes well! I will update once I get my truck back. @TN Rotty, you can update the spreadsheet table with my latest information.

Sounds like your dealer is much better than mine. I dropped mine off on Tuesday, after waiting 3 weeks for the appointment, and had to call today for an update. I was told that they were not even going to touch my truck until next Friday at the earliest and he was doubtful at that. What is the point of an appointment if they had no plans to even look at it for another 2 weeks!!!

When I did drop it off he showed me another truck with the same problem that had been there for 6 weeks already. The part had over 300 people on the back order list with no stock and no ETA.

Super frustrated, disappointed that my brand new $80,000 truck was broken when I drove it off the lot and now I have no vehicle for who knows how long <rentals are not available until July> yet my insurance and car payments still are due.

Have not contacted the dealer yet. I’m too busy to surrender my truck to them right now.

Let us know what the dealer does and for how long the repair takes.

Had the same issue. Dealer replaced the part and it solved issue.

@Oxford_Powerboost - When I read your latest leak event, I had thought it occurred after the part was replaced, but you still have your old, unreplaced, heat exchanger part, yes?

My truck met the North Carolina Lemon Law requirements today and I will be asking for a buy-back on Monday. We will see how that goes. I see a number of NC Lawyers asking for Lemon Law cases.

Assuming the dealership isn't lying they also ordered the part today so April 22 for part ordered

Hopefully, I won't have to resort to litigation. My truck was likely leaking when it was delivered and it just took 1,200 miles to leak enough to cause overheating. FMC knew the Exhaust Heat Exchanger was a problem more than a year ago so they are complicit here. All of this hybrid and all-electric stuff is at the very edge of production technology which does not make sense in a high volume production item like a Ford F-150. This is all the work of government incompetence and crime -- crooked politicians practicing "demagoguing" to ensure their continued presence in the crime family.

So I got my truck back today. All looks good but when I got home I crawled under the truck with my super-bright flashlight and inspected everything is connected properly and nothing leaks. Seems the dealer did a good job and after 2 months I am officially leak free! Hope it stays that way!

It looks like I’m one of many to have this heat exchanger coolant leak. 2022 powerboost leaking coolant from the heat exchanger. ~1,500km on the truck. First warm day since I got it. How long is everyone waiting on a replacement and is there any fix besides replacing the unit?
