My truck says it is built and is shipping. It is by rail, but I talked to my dealer and they are still warning there could be delays due to two main things....

Although coming by rail, it still takes a truck to get it to the dealer. They are seeing delays with truckers. My truck is coming from Detroit to either Dallas or San Antonio, then onto the Austin area.

But, this area this time of year gets bad storms - so they are worried about storm damage and possible hail damage as well.

It's always something isn't it? ;)

When was your original blend date? Wasn’t it like last week?

BTW, I have virtually the exact same truck!! (Added bedliner…)

My blend date was 4/9 and it never shifted. Pretty good turn around!

It's close to yours, there's (3) other SQ Platys that built this week.

I'm in the SQ platy party. "Which has seemed like an 8 month pity party for me.":ROFLMAO:

I wonder if they only run the smoked quartz through the paint line for a day or two every few months. Then they all get stacked up. I toured the plant on my blend date 4/5. I didn't see a smoked quartz on the line, but you only see a few hundred vehicles at a time.

I too did the spray in bedliner and wonder if that is why my truck is stuck on "in production" while others who had later blend dates are "built." I assume mine will switch any day now. My index finger is getting tired of clicking refresh on the ford tracking website.

Whoever was asking if they would ship this weekend, I wouldn't hold my breath. The Dearborn plant is closed for the Easter/Passover weekend. So, I wouldn't expect much new shipping this weekend. Then again that may just be the production line. ?

I would imagine they rarely run that color, it's such a small percentage of sales. I like that it'll be rare and unique!

GMC moved in the SQ direction with their new Titanium Rush Metallic for 22's, very similar color.

You too have a very similar build - but I have to wonder, I ordered 6/4/21, how is mine still not built!!!

I think it's clear that buyers from early 21' have been given short shrift..

Gmanford22,
I agree the whole fulfilment process is beyond my understanding. My dealer keeps saying that since all the 2021s were switched to a priority 2 and rolled to 2022 , that they will be built in the order that they were ordered as long as there are no supply constraints. He says that individual dealer allotments only count for stock orders right now because the are so backed up with the retail orders.

Interestingly on Ford's vehicle order tracking it says my order was confirmed 10/6/21. I had talked to Ford customer support in September and they confirmed my order then. That 10/6 date I assume is when it was rolled over to a MY22. I don't know if Ford did that automatically or if my dealer re-entered it as a MY22 and canceled the MY21. I am not trying to point the finger at the dealers but if yours was rolled over on a date later than mine I could have jumped ahead. There is a SQ Platy PB listed as ordered on 10/2/21 that had a 4/4 blend date on the order list.

Yeah, that was me that was asking. It’s my birthday on Monday, so was holding out hope I’d have a delivery before then :). Only 3 hours from Dearborn, so still possible I guess.

By far this is the worst part.. knowing your truck is ready to go just that final step. Hopefully it's sooner than later. Any other BAP Lariats waiting on shipment?

I just happy it's built, the previous week has a number of holds pending...

Yeah, totally get it and definitely not pointing fingers at anyone on here. I think you’re right, because my roll-over date wasn’t until 10/26…. My dealer has been very good about answering any questions ands very patient with my texts to check on status. So provided I get the truck by mid-May, they give me my x-plan price + eligible incentives and my 0% financing (of which was all agreed) then I won’t complaint about them. Sounds like they may have been a little slow to roll it over.

Guys is it possible to negotiate interest rate with dealer? When I ordered in November I was told 2.99% for my PB Lariat. Would really love to be able to get 1.99% or lower if possible once the truck arrives

My Modules popped!!! No tear tag yet and nothing from Ford, but progress. Anyone know if the most recent builds from Dearborn are still getting stuck in Chip hold purgatory?
