April 14th is the ETA. I chatted with ford online today and they said there’s a secondary status called: “Delay - rail carrier.
This means that the vehicle is impacted by carrier equipment failure, interchange delays, off loading delays, yard congestion, equipment shortage, or Diversion.”

anybody ever seen that Delay - rail carrier issue before?

My ETA is 4/8 - 4/14. I've told myself I won't panic until the 15th lol I'm also a Ford employee and have seen first hand all of the constraints associated with producing vehicles right now. I'll just be glad when it actually shows up.

Week of March 7th. Original Delivery ETA of March 27th, pushed to April 2nd and now April 18th and still “Awaiting shipment”.

It’s impossible for it to go from built to at the dealer by 4/14, correct ?

It would need to go to shipped/in transit status and that could take weeks I thought?

3/14 build week and have been awaiting shipment for 2+ weeks.

@Texican does chat give you an eta of your truck shipping from the facility? They’re consistently telling my 4/19 for it to ship, which would be 3 weeks after build.

Eta: add another 4 weeks to get to my dealer, I would be looking at receiving my truck 2 f’n months after it’s built, which is completely ridiculous

Chat told me that it is scheduled to be shipped on 4/15 which is 28days after the VVR said it was built. Then the time it takes to ship from Dearborn to Philadelphia is probably at least 2 weeks the way its going. So same boat as you, 2 months from built to delivery. Total horseshit.

Thanks and the same for you. I feel bad for those guys still on chip hold from January. Hopefully they get their trucks soon. Ford should really rework how they run things during emergency conditions.

Well I just did my weekly chat checkin and they are still saying 4/27-5/3 to get the chips in and get my truck completed.

what I’m wondering is when they do the spray liner? I’ve read some say that it’s done after it is built and others that it should already be done and once the chip arrives it should be totally complete.

so I’m not sure if I’ll have a further wait after completed or if it will be able to ship. That could put me into July/Aug before I get it

These dates are nuts. Im told my chip/s are 4/19-4/25. My blend was 3/31. How are they telling you later than me? I have a 501A. Nothing added besides max tow and tow mirrors.

yea I have no clue. Wish they would give you an idea of what the hold up is. Friday will be 3 weeks since it was built and placed on chip hold.

I’m not in a rush for it, but it’s the inconsistency of the information that annoys me because it doesn’t allow me to plan as we have an extremely hectic schedule starting next month through July

Chat just told me that I have an estimated departure date from the ramp of 4/23. She also said that my truck is complete or would not be on a carrier ramp (still showing in production). I am also headed to Philly, but hoping delivery sooner than 2 weeks. Only about a 8.5 hour drive, so would think truckers would try to do in one day. I really would like to get it before 5/29.
