Here’s a weird one for you guys . . . I’ve recently noticed a squeak or chirp from my Powerboost periodically. It’s fairly muted but I can hear it with the windows up. It doesn’t sound like something is rubbing or grinding, it’s only one chirp and frankly I’m not overly bothered by it. More just curious. The sound seems to be coming from the left and behind the driver - at first I thought it was suspension related - perhaps the springs on my RAS springs on the rear.
After paying attention to it further I realized it wasn’t suspension as it didn’t happen when I was doing anything that was stressing that (i.e. braking, turning, bumps, etc). I believe I’ve narrowed it down to only happening when the truck switches to electric driving. At least that was the correlation when I started driving home from work today but about 15 minutes in to the drive it stopped making the sound at any time.
I’ll continue to monitor to verify the correlation and see if I can establish more of a pattern (just until something warms up? truly intermittent? something else?) but thought I would post here to see if anyone else has seen something similar. . .
