Short of it is +100 HP and + 90 lb-ft. 492 ponies to the wheel and 590 lb feet. Stock it was putting 380 hp to the tire.

Most impressive all around. Hearing how they are working on the transmission shifts is also a biggie. In addition sounds like they will be working on when the electric motor comes in with later tunes.

Why does the PB need to be tuned? Doesn't it come from the factory with enough HP and Torque?

Why does the PB need to be tuned? Doesn't it come from the factory with enough HP and Torque?
It does for me and for 99% of all buyers, but there are those that ache for battle.

It does for me and for 99% of all buyers, but there are those that ache for battle.
They provide multiple tunes. The tow tune is really nice for those towing heavy loads.

The factory tune is not tuned for optimal results or what the ecoboost is fully capable of. It has to factor in the feds and regs.

If you use your truck for truck stuff, why not get the full capability? That "extra" power sure makes towing and hauling easier.

Great to see someone finally get working on it. Awesome numbers for a first attempt, very interested to see what else they can get when they start playing with the electric motor more.

Very interested in the transmission tune. Ford's implementation of the 10 spd is archaic compared to GM's seamless integration and utilization of all 10 gears.

Thanks for the perspective. Have never considered it because every video that I see of "tuning" is finding a remote highway to lay rubber for a 1/4 mile or 0-60 test. But your response shows me that there's more to it than that, and I appreciate you taking the time to educate me. :)

I mean do I need another 100 hp? Nah. It's awesome. Do I want it when I am sitting next to my brother in his Raptor? Absolutely.

Well, i mean they are fun....

I have a Livernois tune in my 2019 Ranger.
You get the interface box thingy that allows you to back up and install tunes.

You can also use it to get codes, change tire size, etc.

I received 4 tunes in the deal. 3 performance and a tow tune. I have the low octain tune. I use this as normal and install the tow when needed.

The tune i use as normal increases hp and torque. A lot. And aIso got 2 mpg increase over stock. Best of both worlds.

When i replaced tires at 40k, i went up a size. Just plugged in the tool and adjusted to new size. Easy peasy.
