Damn this is insane. Another price increase? Guess I'm waiting even longer. Hate this inflation crap.

Does not matter when you placed your order , the price is not in stone until the window sticker is created. You will have to work with the dealer to honor the price when placed.
I agree. The notification says "invoiced (aka billing has begun) prior to February" - Buyer2021, try googling definition of invoice?
I work for a company that sells aluminum extrusions and we have raised prices after contracts are signed and POs are issued many times over the past year. It's called an escalation charge. If we haven't invoiced yet, we can and do raise prices. Take it or leave it.
I believe that if you have only reserved a vehicle at this point and not signed on the dotted line, you could be facing this price increase.

I agree mostly but almost $2400 more in 6 weeks seems like a cash grab.
I know its not the same, but look at Tesla. The model Y is up I think nearly 10K in one year and they are still sold out. Unfortunately, I don't see things turning around anytime soon. I agree though, any price increase stings especially when wages at least in my industry are flat.

If you are at all thinking you need a truck at any point in the future for necessity vs convenience, I'd go ahead and bite the bullet. Realistically, we aren't going to see prices trending the other way. Inflation is on the rise. Interest rate hikes are coming in the future. There could be rebates at some point into 2023 if supply starts to increase, but honestly I don't think the auto industry will return to how things were pre-covid. It's a gamble either way, and decided to lock in and order last month with an excellent invoice - deal. Now I just have to play the waiting game.

We are a Cisco partner, and they keep increasing prices, same thing end of the year and again now. Seems everybody is getting in on the act.

I absolutely would order now if I could but we are planning a x-country move and it's just not a good time to buy a truck. I wanted a 2021 but this has been looming so I've had to wait. It's extremely frustrating. I mean yeah there are worse things in the world but this sucks.

My base price of my 2022 is about $100 less than my Job 1 base price 2021. The 2022 base will be almost 3k more by the time I take delivery. Freaking crazy. 157" 4x4 platinum. 2021 vs 2022 biggest price increase I saw was 701A package

Looks like I bought at the right time (October 21). I had a feeling this inflation was going to cause serious price hikes from Ford and other manufactures. This is one of the primary reasons I decided to buy late last year.

Between these two price hikes, I've saved $2380. Hate it for anyone else who hasn't purchased yet, though.

Im not sure you are comparing apples to apples. 2021 Job 1 platinums has adaptive steering included which became a $1k option in job 2 and 2022. So your base price on the Job 1 truck had more “base”.

Yes you're correct, forgot about that as I didn't add it to my 2022 as I dont like it.
So its $900 more if you compare apples to apples. But if we get down to apples to apples, we can add cost of cup holder lights, wireless charger light, glove box light, led plate lights and digital temperature control knobs.. 701A increase (which now includes blue cruise I was told) interior prep increase.. Im happy with being a early adopter. Only upgrading to go from eco to powerboost, otherwise I'd keep the 21

A year ago, trucks were going at or below invoice on a regular basis. Today, many dealers won't talk to you unless your willing to pay MSRP (or above) and that number keeps going up, too. The year or year out of pocket cost of a truck is not even in the same ballpark.

I negotiated 8.23% under MSRP, if a dealer wasn't willing to talk pricing I walked. I found couple of dealers near me that were competitive.

Dang. They just had a price increase on 12/26 I believe. This one comes less than two months later.

Crazy times… The only thing not going up is my salary.
