Every week is another delay from Ford

I placed my order for a 2022 502A Lariat in Space White with the FX4 package and just about every option available on 12/18 through Dexter at Koons Woodbridge. Last night for the 3rd week in a row I have gotten an email from Ford notifying me that my build has been delayed by a week. Is anyone else experiencing this? Was originally given 3/7/2022 build week the latest email is 3/28/2022.

Same boat as you! Ordered 12/23, with a estimated build week of 3/14/2022. Now pushed to 3/27/2022

I completely understand that some have been waiting the better part of a year, and that a 4-5 month wait pales in comparison. I just wanted to see if getting a delay each week was something happening to just me or if there was some sort of plant issue that was causing everyone to get bumped each week.

Based on what I’ve read around the internet (whether or not to believe it) times will get longer for production. My order was placed same time as yours and I have yet to get a VIN. I figure delivery by June or July is hopeful.

Ordered 12/1/21 from Akins Ford (outside of Atlanta). Original build date of 2/2/22, then moved to 2/11/22 and now 2/13/22. But I have my window sticker and blend date shows 2/10/22. Keeping my fingers crossed that date holds true…

it’s lack of chips. I think one guy on here got bumped 9 times.

I thought you did not get a build week and VIN until they confirmed the parts available, which is why some trims like the Platinum models were going so long without being scheduled.

At least you are getting emails with a build date. I ordered 10/29, and I do not have a build date because they do not have everything I ordered available, including the 5.0

I’m confused as to why Ford is even taking orders for trucks they don’t seem to be able to produce. I’m not confident I’ll get a truck this year based on some of the stories around here.

no story. never got scheduled for a 21. dealer reordered as a 22. Got a vin in December finally.
