Does anyone know if it works on a 2022 model? Web site only sells 2021 year.

Thanks
My guess is that the 22 is the same as 21. But I’m curious too. 22 Truck is arriving soon and I’m interested.

Just got warm enough for a day in my area to climb under the truck and get this installed. Great product and easy install. Never realized just how much noise that speaker was making while moving forward until it was gone. Was just looking to get rid of the backup beep, but the forward noises were just as bad. Great product!

I was just as shocked as you were. I had the same objective as you and was just as impressed with the speaker deleted how pleasant the truck became.

Finally got around to installing this device today. The cable was a huge pain in the ass to remove. That being said, results were exactly as advertised.

@WillB17 is fantastic and I would have paid a lot more for this thing. Thank you!

First of all I would like to thank @WillB17 . I too was annoyed with the pedestrian backup beeper, especially in campgrounds. I decided to go one step further because I wanted to still have the backup beeper easily available. Using the part numbers WillB17 provided and doing some additional research I found the matching female connector. I disconnected the speaker and ran 2 wires from it and 2 wires from the harness then snaked them through the firewall ( very tight fit) up under the dash. I hooked them up to a double pole double throw 2 position switch with 6 pins. The other 2 pins have the pedestrian delete loop on it that WillB17 makes. With switch in one position all is quiet and the other position the beeper still works.

Thats awsome! Glad my part numbers from an earlier post helped!

I could easily charge more, but my #1 objective with offering this kit was low price & high quality. Too many companies are price gouging for mods just to line their pockets.

Do you have any pictures of the install?

I just received the device from MegaOhm MotorSports. How hard would it be to rig it up with a toggle switch in the dashboard that switches between having the sounds and not having them?

I used this switch from amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093DX745...t_i_TZ9J6KQE2WP4CDB5QTX7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

For the box, I had an old broken ac adapter that I took the insides out and made some holes.

16 Guage wire. 4 strands through the firewall. 2 to the speaker and 2 to the harness.
Male connection "molex 34675-0002"
Blade terminal " molex 34080-0001"
Female connection "molex 34062-0032"
Female connection terminal "molex 34083-2001" ( I think this is the right one, being shipped)( just have bare wire end in the connection right now and working temporarily)

The hardest part was getting wire through the firewall. The rubber seal around the main wire harness is very very tight!!

Wires from the harness at the speaker are on the middle blades. Pedestrian delete loop off of one on position and the other on position goes back to the speaker. I can flip from one to another and no dash warnings.
all zip tied up under the dash.

See my other post. Hardest part getting wires through the firewall.
