Sorry for the late update, took advantage of the clear night and extreme cold warning to play some pond hockey for a few hours last night ?

@Nasto moving up the board, looking forward to some pictures!

Any more updates, let me know!

Above the line, finally! Going today to take pics. Kinda funny. If I go to the Ford tracker through my e-mail, it now shows delivery estimate of 02/04/22, but if I sign in at ford.com, it accurately shows delivered and being prepped.

I have an account with Ford, but it says I don't have any reservations or orders. How do you track your vehicle on your Ford.com account?

Here's how I stumbled across it. Hit the "track my order" button in your Ford email, when it shows your tracking info, sign into your Ford account from there. It updated it for me doing that.

Thanks!! Mine currently says the same on both. We'll see how the next couple of weeks turns out.

I'm glad I went with them. Do you happen to know how easy it is to add the $100 engine block heater that I passed on? Even though I live near Boise, Idaho, a move further north could happen. I've read you don't really need one unless 1)temps are near or below zero consistently in winter 2) the truck is parked outside 3) you have a diesel instead of gas. Thoughts?
While I don't live there, I have it on good authority that people in Cody WY use engine block heaters on their gas engines and recommend them. You can add them to an old truck (03 Silverado). I would assume you can add them to a new F150 (may be a bad assumption).

I ordered the engine heater for mine. If I can follow the cord, I'll try to see where it leads (internal/external).
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner on this. It has been cold here and not conducive to working around the truck. I wasn't able to find the cable to follow it (need to get the truck up on the lift), so I googled it instead.

The cord is located behind the front license plate holder and then appears go into a simple hot water heater style element that screws into an engine block coolant cavity. The element heats the coolant and in turn the engine block itself. Pretty simple design - I had never looked one up before. I've been told that using this means the defroster works much faster to clear iced up windshields and is also supposed to be easier on engine starting in cold weather.

Good luck!

I actually saw one plugged in when I was out for a walk today, gonna look in the same spot and see if I have it on mine.

It was funny that I looked for it for a while and didn't see it. I found a plugged cord behind the front license plate but didn't want to tug on it, not being 100% sure and I couldn't see how it was connected - that was the cord per the 2nd video, the end cap keeps the electrical prongs from corroding.

I'm now showing Estimated Delivery 02/04/2022. Palsapp still shows a freight bill and status Pending.

Have you tried one of the other ones? Cassens or united road?

They both are not showing anything.
Have you called the dealership and asked to see the Vehicle Visibility Report? You may be on a Chip hold.

Just went through the same thought process looking at mine. I do have it on my truck but it must have been included as base equipment. I didn’t specifically add it and it’s not on my order sheet.
