LED Reflector vs LED Projector

I ordered a Lariat Powerboost w 501a package and it comes with LED reflector headlight. I see the 502a package has LED projector headlights. Can anyone explain the difference to me? I am new to LEDs on my vehicles. I already have a VIN and build date so I am not changing. Thanks, Rick

Projectors are more focused than reflector lamps which have more of a wide light distribution. I am partial to the LED reflector lamps in the F-150 because my company manufactures the LEDs for that particular lamp.

The other feature of the F-150 LED projector lamps is the adaptive beam. This allows the beam of light to move with the contours of the road as you steer.

You guys did a great job. I was iffy on the getting the reflector lights vs the projectors. But damn these reflectors are actually really good.

reflector design what is the life expectancy since the manual says use dealer to replace. Also vibration testing?
