Was looking to equip a Pro with the tow tech package mostly for the 360 camera and the scales. Looks like that will be a late availability option, I’m concerned that may bump my Pro build very far out.
Anyone have thoughts? Am I missing much be leaving that off? The 360 camera was great on my f150 and not something you can easily add later unfortunately.

But it won't delay the truck. It's only delayed until the software is available via OTA update.

Where are you seeing that Tow Tech is late availability? This is the first I've seen/heard of it.

Oh that's helpful, so I shouldn't view it as a constraint, like the power running boards which I think

It's looking like the screen changed. I heard Mitchell Watson say it on TC TV on YouTube then confirmed on the site. it don't believe it made mention when I first configured, but I could be wrong. Checking now it says "late availability" with an * saying that an OTA update would add functionality. Ideally I'd be adding this to a Pro, primarily for the cameras and scales only which I couldn't do aftermarket. Late availability in terms of an OTA update is fine with me, but I don't want it to potentially bump Pro production..I feel like if your pro isn't built in the first few months, you'll be waiting for a year or two.

Maybe I'm dumb, but what does Pro stand for? Haven't seen that before.

I ordered Tow Tech on my Lariat and it will be just over 3 months from order to pickup for me.

Sounds like this is regarding a Lightning.

That clears it up a bit. I was so confused on this, I couldn't imagine what kind of OTA update would be needed for Tow Tech to "work".
