Is KC holding trucks on lots?

My truck was built yesterday at the KC plant, pals app shows it was transported to "Worlds Fun LOT" anyone know if this is a normal thing for inspections or anything? Or are they holding trucks for chips at this lot? Trackers show In Transit...

Yeah I found that too, but it's from 2020. So not sure if that's still what they are using the lot for. I don't see any recent news that reference that lot.

Common thing for manufacturers to pull vehicles out of the line and take them aside for QA testing. You'll usually see a letter with the vehicle denoting the higher than normal mileage on it was due to the testing

Hopefully that's all it is. I do show an end date on the tracker in 34 days. I know the average for my dealer is 3 weeks from KC.

Back in the day at Mitsubishi we had to put a little sticker in the window saying blah blah blah pretty much what you said. Our emission testing lab usually ended up putting 63 miles on the odometer. It was done on a dyno because they were hooked up to all sorts of testing instruments.

Your warranty will start at that point so you don't really lose any miles.

I'm in the same situation as you. Was delivered to Worlds of Fun lot on Nov 21st according to palsapp and hasn't moved since. Dealer shows an ETA of 12/13. However the trackers say end date ETA 12/31... Hurry up and wait I guess...

Just heard back from my dealer. He shows it on ramp 15 awaiting shipment and released.

So mine was showing that too and today it showed it was moved to the Argentine Ramp. So either pals app is delayed in updating or they let my truck sit around for a week after it was showing a released status to the dealer.

First time I hear about this world of (no) fun. Did your tracker always show that? My truck built today and the tracker shows destination of dealer (dealer name) and status Pending. According to Ford tracker, delivery is 12/16.

It was showing that in Palsapp not in the tracker. Ford tracker has shown shipped for me this whole time. Worlds of fun is a parking lot near the KC plant that ford has been known to store trucks in the past as they were being held for things.

I understand, but did Palsapp show at any time that the destination (or the origin) is WoF, or did it show the dealer at any time?

For me it showed WOF as the first destination then the ramp as the second on a different line. It looks like your truck is shipped directly to the dealer by truck vs going on a train. It might not show anything other then pending till it's delivered.
