So I've got some good news and some bad news.

Pause for effect...

Okay it's just bad news.

I've been moved to the 12/13 build week. Anyone want to take over the spreadsheet here?
:( How did you find out?

Wow, that's awesome. I wonder why they originally didn't schedule anyone for this week/next week when Job #1 started (today). I thought maybe it was because they were doing dealer stock orders first, but clearly not if they bumped you early. Maybe some others will also get lucky.

Does your status show any different on the Mach-E tracker? Or on any tracker, for that matter.

Actually, after looking into it, it looks like it doesn't necessarily mean that it's being built right now/next week. This is what the status changes to 7-10 days before your build day, so it might still be on track for your original 11/29 date. Hard to say for sure though, not a ton of info out there.

I'm scared to text my sales guy now... But assuming I'm still in this week, I'll PM you an email if you have a sheet going. Otherwise I can just copy the data

Talked to Dexter at Koon's. He first told me no change in date, and then said "Let me check another location" and then told me the 12/13 build week. He's also going to see if they can fix the email thing with Ford (I've not gotten any).

Does this mean I also have to move to a new group?
Probably not. I'd wait and see.

Thanks for taking over! I responded to the PM and sent the sheet. Certain formatting, such as bold, does not transfer to the forum, but it can be manually added once on the forum. And if your rep says "No change in date", and then says "Let me check another location.", stop him! :)

Dexter got back to me about the whole email mess up. He said he can’t seem to fix it cuz the trucks already in schedule. Hopefully I stay in place with 11/29 build date.

2018 F-150 Platinum (64k miles for sale) 2022 pend
Need some insight. Ordered a 2021 Platinum (or at least I think I did) on July 29th. They took my DL for verification and everything. I Never got anything by email from Ford or the dealer.

Checked with dealer a couple of times per month, was never scheduled but dealer assured me it was in the system. Later in the process the dealer advised me it would likely be rolled over to a 2022.

Finally, on October 22, I got an email from ford with the subject: "Your 2022 F-150 Platinum order". Email said my dealer had placed the order and the order had been confirmed. Nothing since then.

I never got anything official saying my order was CHANGED to 2022, just that it was placed for a 2022. Still, to my knowledge, has not been scheduled. .

I also never got a notice or anything about the $3,500 rebate for orders rolled into 2022.

Nothing special other than Max Recline seats. I did add 2kw power, but that was in Oct. after the order confirmation.

I am wondering if something has happened and mine was never rolled over and simply went in as a 2022. Seems like a July order would have been scheduled sooner.

Can anyone give me any insight here?
INTERIOR WORK SURFACE CAUSING DELAYS!

Ordered in July (my story is above). Been calling my sales rep every week, all he could say is "still not scheduled". Stopped by by to see him in person today, this is what we discovered.

The rep checked the computer and it was not showing any commodity hold. He then called his Ford rep in ATL. He looked up my order and said it was on hold due to the interior work surface (which evidently my guy couldn't see). He said if I would remove that feature, he would get my build scheduled TODAY.

Will update when I get official word.

Guess I dodged that delay. I originally ordered without it because I thought that the surface took away the (apparently non-existent) storage in the lid of the center console. Come to find out that the hunk of space in the lid is inaccessible and doesnt exist. So I tried to add the work surface, but my sales guy told me my order had already locked. Kind of bummed about it still tho. Just a lil. I'll probably work something up in CAD and 3d print something instead.

Word to the wise-never ask you dealer for an update. I just checked in with them today and got this back-

Ford F-150 11/29 Build Week 1637353568424

Looks like I’m moving to the 12/20 week. Looking forward to pictures of y’all’s trucks when you get them at Christmas.

Yes, I have the interior work surface option.

I ordered the interior work surface. Didn’t think some extra plastic would be a cause for delay. No chips for that
