I received an order confirmation from Ford, but no order number. I don’t see the order when I look at my ford account. Do I need I get the order number when a VIN is finally issued? None this first week or two of 2022 production.Any Black Appearance Packages scheduled?
Hoping I'm wrong and we see an order scheduled but rumblings from Ford on this package is that it will not be scheduled until Feb/Mar due to part shortages!
Build weeks are in December that are being assigned right now. From the 6th-25th for estimated production days. Arrival takes about 4 weeks from production date. It depending on where it's produced, if it's in Kansas city it'll be here before then, in Dearborn it may take that whole 4 weeks.
Same here - my order does not show on this page of my Ford account. My reservation for a F-150 Lightning is there, but not my 2022 King Ranch order. I have my order code, sales code, VIN, COVP tracking number, and Smart Vincent authorization number. However, none of these seem to matter for my Ford account. I was able to add the VIN to FordPass, but that doesn't really provide any info since the truck hasn't been built yet. I called Ford customer service and they said I can't connect the vehicle to my Ford account because I ordered it from a dealer. Huh?? So, I asked what other options did I have for ordering a vehicle - she stammered a bit as she realized that's the only way to order.
The rep I talked to at Ford was very similarly non-helpful!
I don't believe this has integration to the reservation system that the lightning is based in. You only get your email updates for the normal F-150.
Thanks, Zach - that certainly seems to be the case from everything I'm hearing. Looks like they're prepared for more integration in the future - probably right after my new truck is delivered!
Anyone know how long the delay is for BAP?No black appearance package trucks should be be scheduled this week according to Ford’s scheduling notes.
We normally don't hear until it's a green light.
