To those of you that have installed the YAW Sensor, did you mount the sensor on the centerline of your TT? Does it make a difference?

The reason I ask is that the included instructions are silent to sensor location on the trailer. They address the Arrow direction.

I mounted mine like these instructions:



Sorry you might have to copy/paste that. But you want it on the angled part of the trailer, with the arrows up. I don’t think the side matters. I’m pretty sure mine is mounted on the same side as the video and I mounted the holder on the opposite side, but honestly I can’t remember exactly.

Also I’m pretty sure distance doesn’t matter but I mounted mine a couple years ago. You could probably use some other zip ties or tape to try it first, before you permanently mount it with the included tape.

I prefer the yaw sensor because the visual tape style doesn’t work for me due to the measurements and where you have to place it, I simply don’t have the room because of my propane tanks.
