When I added trailer tow mirrors to my 24, I bought the main harness for the drivers door and added the wires I needed for the passenger door. I had to re-pin the door lock switch as it was a different connector than what was on the harness, but that was pretty easy since I had the pins already. I think I added two wires to the passenger door (maybe four) to get the power fold and extend to work properly. Then a few changes in FORScan and it was good. You might consider that option to make it work.

Yes, the door harness is more than boosted's harness, but it replaces the full door harness and has all the connectors already on it. You just have to swap the harness out. Boosted's harness is an add-on jumper harness to give you the functionality you need. That's the same thing I did on my passenger door. I basically built my own harness and just plugged in the wire pins in the terminal plug where required and it works. I thought about going that route on the driver's door, but I decided to go with the OEM harness in case I ever wanted to add the memory function. I doubt I will go that far (seats are expensive) but who knows. Maybe one day.

Glad to hear that. Hopefully it will be here in a few days and you can get the install taken care of. Good luck with it.

Thank you, I really appreciate all of you help and advice.
I will just have to figure out the forscan changes that are needed.

This is Livinitup's Forscan spreadsheet that is updated all the time. You might read some of the threads to see what to enable.

And you can always ask. I'll see if I still have all the changes I made and post them to you. I have a 24 XLT SuperCrew but it should be the same as only the front windows have the modules on them.

Here are the forscan changes for adding power folding mirrors with turn signals and puddle lights. My 740/741-04-06 where already what was needed. So if you run into that as well it is fine. Everything worked just like it is suppose to. For the Auto Folding to work you must go into the SYNC setting, vehicle, mirror, and turn it on.

Hopefully I can get some guidance / help on this topic. I have a 2023 F250 STX (glorified XL) Crew Cab. I am in the process of changing out my manual fold / telescope for power units. I purchased the kit from Fairway Ford (ML3Z-17696-DA) and was able to get them mounted up no problem. I switched out the cameras from the old units into the new and those work fine.

My thought was to wait on Boosted GreyGoose to update inventory with the specific jumper kit and purchase that, but while I was installing the new mirrors I noticed that my passenger wiring harness already has what looks to be the wiring needed to trigger the power fold and extend features for the new mirrors. The Driver side is what is missing the jumper wires from the mirror to the DDM and the additional wires for the extend function.

Question I have is, IF the wires are correct on the Passenger door, wouldn't the power fold function work on that door if all functions are enabled in Forscan? Would it need any reliance on the Driver side to make the passenger door function? I know I will need the additional wiring for the driver door to make the driver mirror function, but I would assume when pushing the button that the passeger would work.

Could I have missed a step in Forscan? I have attached pictures of my driver side harness and also passenger. Clearly missing wires 18 and 19 (power fold) and 16 and 17 (telescope) on the driver side. But passenger has pins 16, 17, 18 and 19 filled in..

So just an update on this post. Still no luck with boostedgreygoose having an in stock harness or infotainment bringing one to market, so I went ahead and bought a harness from TASCA and decided to pull specific wires that I needed from it.

Main goal was to just get the power fold option working. Not too concerned with the telescope at the moment. So, from my understanding, to get the power fold to work, I added two wires from the black mirror connector to the grey connector at the DDM. 1st wire added went from Mirror Pin 18 to DDM Pin 11 and 2nd wire from Mirror Pin 19 to DDM Pin 22. Also changed out the mirror control button cluster to the one that has the power fold button (ML3Z 14529 CD).

Lastly, enabled Mirror Powerfold in APIM via forscan.

BUT.... still cannot get power fold to work. Begging for help. This almost makes we want to burn this truck to the ground and buy a Lariat...

Not sure if this will help this is for 21-22 I think.

This is actually what I referenced when adding the wires. I have added 6 wires total (4 wires from the driver mirror to the DDM grey connector and 2 wires from the telescope switch to the DDM black connector). The only wires I have not tied in are the remaining three from the switch (4,1, & 2). Although those should not have effect on the powerfold function.

I have also referenced the pdf from boostedgreygoose that I think you posted in this thread. I did not make changes in as built rather I did it in plain English, but verified all changes in as built.

I really am at a loss. Thought it would be a super simple retro fit. Not sure if the pins are not seating correctly or if the DDM is not compatible since it's an XL model.

I added them to my 22 xlt and they work. The only issue I had was I need to turn them off and on in forscan after wired and turned on. For some reason they didn’t work. I turned off and back on in forscan and they worked. Not sure

I can try that... basically just disable powerfold in APIM and then enable again?
