I've been searching and searching and am still without an answer. Does anyone know the part numbers for a Power Fold, Heated, Loaded Mirror (all options...with camera, BLIS, Puddle Light, etc) in Iconic Silver for a 2023 XLT? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For standard mirrors (not tow) it is likely a paint to match or chrome option directly from Ford.

Yes all of those changes are in the harness, then also the plug for the extension switch, and these two plugs.
Thanks I'm going wire it myself. Have send emails to boosted Grey and no reply. On the telescoping switch 4&1 splice into ddm #17 and switch #2 splice into ddm #15?

Anyone that's used the Boosted Grey Goose harness to add the Power folding and extending tow mirrors to an XLT with 360 cameras know what the 2 extra connectors are for on the driver's side? The other extra plug is for the extending switch, but the other two which are very short don't seem to have anything to plug into.

Hi, sorry to join this thread so late but I just got my 2024 XLT and although it has the tow package and brake module factory installed there was nothing I could order that grave me power fold and power extend trailer mirrors. What is this grey goose harness and how can that help me upgrade the side mirrors myself? Thank you in advance! Dave.

Disclaimer - I did this to my 2022 XLT and have no knowledge if it still works on a 2024.

Everything I did is on page one of this thread so, read it and proceed at your own risk, good luck!

Here is the link for the grey goose wiring solution which basically adds wires to existing harness to make them work.

I currently have a 24' XLT and I've done some research and it sounds like it's doable. And most definitely purchase his wire harness. These harnesses at the dealership are close to $400 for the pair. Now granted it will make it pretty much plug and Play, but double the cost.

I am keenly interested in this as I have a 2024 XLT with a factory tow package that includes trailer brake and trailer parking system, etc, BUT NOT TOW MIRRORS!!!!! And no simple ability to add them without losing some other features (like 360 camera) Sooooo please let me know what you discover on this! Unfortunately this is a very expensive exploration process that is compounded with Ford being secretive on why I cannot simply buy the stock powered fold/extend tow mirrors with all the features my XLT has (BLIS, heated, pebble lights, 360 camera, turn signals, spotlights) I’m DUMFOUNDED that I have a tow package but am not permitted to have stock tow mirrors. Even Grey Goose has jumper wires but only up to 2023 year model and they have nothing for 2024….but still I have no idea why! Nobody will tell you why. How does one work around something they dont even know about? UGHHHHHHHHHH.
So I will follow this and cannot wait to see you figure this out Sir!

Right now I was able to install 21-23 F150 tow mirrors with all features. Had to swap my 24 cameras in for the ones came in the mirrors. Everything is working including powerfold. Working on getting telescoping working.

I actually just used the 'easy' mode in Forscan instead of modifying the as built codes. The directions he includes don't actually include the extend function. Also because of the options my truck has I only had to enable the following in the Door modules (driver and passenger): power folding (set to Ford autofold), power extend (set to yes or enable). Then I enabled the marker lights on the tow mirrors in the BCM and the autofold in the APIM.

I may have asked this already but....what are the part numbers for the tow mirrors you put on? I understand they are the 2023 fully optioned mirrors and you only swapped the 360 camera off your 2024 and put the camera on the 2023 mirrors....then the pin out stuff. Right?

I think you're the only one in this thread to have done this on a 2024... was there anything special you had to with Forscan? I heard the 2024s have some encryption on some things?

Wanting to do this on a 24 Lightning, not the tow mirrors but just the folding mirrors

No it is not mentioned in the directions, not even a "they aren't needed on some trucks, zip tie them out of the way." I did tie them up out of the way and made all the appropriate Forscan changes and everything works as expected. At this point I'm not too worried about it.

Hi. Would you have a photo of the pin configuration of that plug? If not then...how many pins is it?

Thanks.

Okay so yesterday I installed power fold tow mirrors to my 24' XLT 302A. I was able to get a pair of 24' Platinum door harnesses from my dealerships body shop for $150. After installing them I realized they didn't have the telescoping connector. What I thought was the telescoping connector was actually the ambient door lighting connector. It's really not the end of the world at this time because what I really wanted was the power fold feature. Looking into it a little further I could always utilize the old harness wire pins and make my own. It looks like I would only have to do the wiring from the module to the telescoping button. As the connector to the mirrors is full of wires/pins. I'm only really upset about it because I really don't want to take the door apart again and risk breaking anything.... But $150 for basically brand new harnesses.... I'll get over it

Fortunately I was able to get a hold of some Tow Mirrors off a 2025 Platinum. I will start off by saying that they had a different camera in them. Not only did they work, but they improved my overhead 360 view. The stitching is much better. Some of you may know I already have manual fold tow mirrors on my truck. I installed my cameras off the standard mirrors, and have had overhead 360 view /stitching issues ever since. The cameras that originally came in my standard mirrors end in BB. These cameras off the 25' platinum end in BC.

Everything was plug and play and relatively easy. On the driver side you will either need to modify the connector for the lock / unlock button or what I have done is ordered the lock / unlock button with memory buttons and the matching bezel. The passenger door is much easier to do and has less wires obviously than the driver's door. There's one connector on the driver's door that will take smaller hands to get to, but it can be done. Just make sure your windows are up.

I went in forscan and made the changes. At first it didn't take. Then for the hell of it I went in my APIM and changed Auto fold and power fold to "enabled" they were both disabled. I haven't made any forscan changes for auto fold. I went back and entered the new values for power fold and now they work.

One of the reasons I was pushed to install the complete harness was because the 25' Platinum Tow Mirrors have the auto dimming feature on the driver side. I have tinted windows and I was driving around last night and it looks like it is working.

Here is the value changes for the 24's for power fold. Dealership can also do all the programming. They are used to it because of the Ford accessory tow mirror kit...fyi

741-03-16 xxxx 03xx xxxx

I attached all the pictures and screenshots from the parts used. I do have the telescoping switch and bezel. I'll save that for later.

Parts list:
1. Wire harnesses (without telescoping connector)
2. Lock/ unlock with memory buttons
3. Bezel for lock/ unlock memory switch
4. Window / mirror controls switch with power fold button
5. Telescoping button
6. Bezel for telescoping button.
