Anyone done their own body wrap and if so where did you buy the materials? Also any suggestions that you learned.

Helpful tips...
1 - clean that truck like it's being painted. You can do one panel at a time. But the static cling from the sheets backer with pick up stuff from the dirty ones and from the floor.

2 - buy a heat gun that is adjustable in temp. You will need it to heat up the wrap to take out wrinkles.

3 - heat it but don't over stretch it. The adhesive on the back spreads out too much and it will peel or lift eventually.

4 - lots of YouTube videos! Give yourself plenty of time to watch and learn. It is an art to get something that is presentable, vs something that just looks ok. The better the prep, the out come.

5 - have extra hands available. 4x7 sheets seems reasonable until you have to place it.

And I have just bought vivid vinyls in rolls from Amazon. Way cheaper shipping. Just make sure you buy from the "vivid store" to make sure you are not getting knock offs.

Have fun!
