Disclaimer: I won these items in a giveaway, so I can't quite do an unbiased review. But, I will do my best to address pros and cons.
I recently saw a thread on the forum where Wolfbox was giving away a jump starter and air duster. Frankly, I expected not to win, but like an Australian speedskater in Salt Lake City, it all worked out for me. UPS dropped off two packages two weeks apart, so I got a chance to take a good look at the jump starter before the air duster.
MegaVolt24 Air
Nice enough box. The giveaway was for the MegaVolt16 Air rather than the MegaVolt24 Air, so I was pleasantly surprised with the upgrade.
Comes in a nice hard-shell case. To the right of the Wolfbox case are the cases for my Lasfit Air Inflator and my Motomaster Jump Pack, and the next photo is of the items out of their cases. It's nicer to have a smaller package to store in the truck, but there is a downside - if one of the components breaks, the entire unit is now worthless. Personal pro/con really.
Also, this thing is massive. Like, there's more lithium here than most people will know what to do with. It's also quite hefty, but in a nice solid way.
Simple enough. I think a USB charging block would have been great, or a 12V adapter, but with the massive battery, charging won't be needed as often.
Surprised by the size of the flashlight. Throws decent light. Also happy with USB-C connections as we're in 2025 and Micro USB has no place anywhere. I will complain though - I don't know what the bullet connector on the right is for. My Motomaster came with an adapter to charge 12V items, but no such adapter was present. The screw connection for the air hose is easy to tighten on, but my Lasfit had a bayonet connector - insert and turn 1/4 clockwise. Pros and cons again to both, speed vs. longevity.
Inflates a heck lot faster than the Lasfit did. I did appreciate that the Lasfit came with a passthrough to run the air pump off 12V directly. The caveat was that the battery in it didn't last long and the 12V connector was frequently unreliable. With the size of the battery in this thing, I think I'm good without the passthrough capability. I really do like the quick connect hose to the valve stem, that wasn't present on the Lasfit. I was recently tasked with changing over tires on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Mini Cooper - this pump didn't struggle, and was surprisingly accurate when compared with pressures taken with a Jaco gauge. Also, look at that font size.
So for a jump starter, one would think I actually jump started a car with it. However, my F-150 has an H8 battery, and my push to have the 12V battery replaced in a dozen fleet vehicles at work right before I got this backfired on me. With winter coming, and forgetful coworkers who leave their cruiser radios on, I'm sure I'll get a chance to test this out as an actual jump-starter. I'll post once I get the chance.
MF200 Air Duster
I didn't think I needed one of these. I have a Swiffer in the car that costs me $5.99. But, I refuse to use it on the IPC cover for fear of scratching the world's most delicate plastic. So that bit always ends up being dusty.
No surprises here. You get what's displayed.
Decent enough packaging. I was disappointed by the bag that came with the air duster to hold it all. It kind of reminds me of a Crown Royal bag. Maybe I was spoiled by the case the above item came in? I ended up finding a spare Husky zip pouch in my box of pouches to use for it.
You know, functionality is the top priority here, but this thing looks good. The button on the grip functions as a release for the battery. It'd be nice if the battery dropped clear when I hit the release button, but I think I've spent too much time at the range. It works and the battery's a decent size. I really do like that you can get extra batteries for it. I got carried away dusting the F150 the first time I got it and ran the battery out. Speaking of dusting...
My wife rolls her eyes when I say my truck is dirty. But I haven't cleaned inside in a few weeks.
I think the results are pretty dang good for two passes. Just for a laugh, I used it to clean out the scene of a concrete repair I was making at a large gap between my garage floor and the driveway. I'd dug out broken concrete, silt, and crumbling asphalt filler, and needed to blast out the remaining debris. I ended up flinging pebbles across my yard.
Conclusion
Ignoring that I received both items for free, I really do like them. I probably would have bought them with my own money knowing what I know now. Time will tell how they both hold up but the build quality and design seem to be much further ahead than some of the other products on the market. The jump starter fits nicely under my rear seat and the built-in inflator seems to have worked well so far. The air duster has some serious cleaning power and rides in my upper glove box now.
