Winter tires downsize 20" to 18"

Very confused, i have 275/60/20's on my Max Tow Lariat. I see that for 18" most places are selling the size 275/65/18 as part of the winter tire package. However the better match for my factory size is 275/70/18's.

What is everyone running for winters?

Dealer wasn’t able to source the 70 tires in 18 inch. Ended up with with these. So down from the 20 to 18 in that size is within the +/- of three percent difference .

So if you are running on the speedo at 118 km per hour, my waze reading is 115.

This is consistent no matter your speed.

I dropped from 22 to 18 on my 18 limited. Will be doing same with new truck but will make new set as off-road package vs winter tires.

275/65/18 was correct till 2020 but with new you should go for 275/70/18

Bought 20" wheels for summer tires and use 20" factory for winter tires on my max tow. Went with Cooper snowclaw and very happy with them.

I went form a 295/60/20, on a 20x9 to a 285/70/18....HUGE difference in ride quality!
