Windshield Transportation Markings ?

Dealer sent me this shot of my truck just off truck. I took delivery 2hrs later. For some reason, there were 40+ miles on it already????
anyway I was wondering if the markings meant anything to anyone

I wouldn't be happy if my truck has 40 miles on it already... what was their explanation?

I had been in a month long argument with them and didnt want to say much. I did mentioned it when salesman sat in truck with me.
then he begged for a good revue and gave me a plastic cup with his card in it.

I'm going to assume that your truck was an early build. Some of those early trucks were taken back to the proving ground and driven around the track to make sure that there were no problems with them. There were a bunch of posts on one of the threads about what Ford was doing with the early builds, prior to the OKTB being issued.

I'm going to guess - and it's just a guess - that @currybob 's new KR is going to have a couple of miles on it too. Very early build, and sat in the lot for a month before getting shipped out.

Also, if you've gotten the Powerboost, HEV mostly likely means "Hybrid Electric Vehicle". If you didn't, then your guess is as good as mine!

It was held back. I had hoped this was the case.
I feel proud now that i have the truck.

The dealer had 31 miles on my F150. It just came off the truck in the last 48 hours because it wasn't even prepped for the lot/show. I wasn't bothered by it.

I’m really hoping mine doesn’t have that many miles on it. Too many more than that, and I wouldn’t consider it new, and the deal would be off....

HEV is likely Hybrid Electric Vehicle like others have mentioned.
