Hello all. I have a 2025 lariat with lots of stuff but no bed lights. If I buy the lights and switch and change the settings with forscan will it void the warranty? I have heard it both ways. Thank. For the advice and add.

The general assumption is: Ford would need to prove what you did caused the issue of the problem that you are seeking repair under warranty. Unfortunately they have more money than you and will make you sue them, most likely. Having said that, I have not read on any forum where ford has denied a warranty repair due to a Forscan change. May be out there, but have not seen it yet.

Reaearch the federal law called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act which is why they’d have to prove the aftermarket part caused the failure to deny warranty.
