What are these hoses for?

Not sure what these hoses on either side of the bed are for. Its a OEM Ford tonneau cover on top.

Spare tire lock, prevent someone from lowering your spare and stealing it. Used to be standard but Ford is holding out on us.

It used to come stock but Ford discontinued it for the 23 year.

This is on my 21. A lock cylinder to remove before you can lower the spare

They look like bed cover drain hoses. They may direct water that collects on the side rails to drain under bed.

I had a '21 Lariat that did not have the spare tire key ... dumb item to cheap out in - in my view.

With or without the lock, that hole is where you put the jack rod to spin and lower the spare tire.
