I have been looking at super duty trucks, specifically the 7.3L gasser with 3.73 rear end (350 only) for a while, I don’t typically tow anything but for several reasons the equipment on the super duty trucks seemed like the best fit for me. I have looked at F150s in the past, and drove a last Gen truck with the 2.7L for several years as my company truck going across country.

What convinced me out of the F150 was the start/stop, I hate it, I don’t even want it on my vehicle. In fact, as an engineer it rubs me the wrong way to have such an obnoxious, over burdening system that requires my over ride or a work around to make the vehicle function like a modern vehicle and not a 1980s jalopy. Seriously, I wouldn’t accept a personal vehicle with it for free.

So it goes without saying I am overjoyed to see it can be deleted from a new truck order. I am strongly considering ordering a screw 5.0, 4x4, 3.73 truck. Unfortunately it seems like the typical discounts we are used to seeing on F150s are NLA. Fortunately I work for a supplier and have a supplier discount I can use.

I’m hoping some members that are in the NC,SC, VA area can chime in and let me know what dealers they are using and if they are paying at MSRP, or below/ADM. if you are finding dealers that are offering incentives does moving up trim levels typically increase incentives?

Granger Ford is offering 3% below invoice! Maybe try them?

I hear very good things about them, but for the distance hopefully I can find similar within the tri-state area. I can definitely use that as a baseline goal in my negotiating if there’s nothing better.

Not bad but $899 doc fee could cancel out a lot of the discount, I think I’m going to swing by one of the larger local dealers (crossroads) next week and compare what they offer to the one you posted here.
One of the largest dealers near me in the state of New Jersey wasn't considering ordering below msrp and their lot has everything marked up by at least 5K. Good luck with your large local dealer. But when you’re done with them, give Dexter at Koons a call - he is solid, and the discount is real, the fees don’t cancel a great deal under invoice.

Look into Chapman Ford in Horsham, Pa. Lots of members have ordered from them including me. 3% under invoice and super easy to deal with.

you have three options.... Granger (IA), Chapman (PA), or Koons (VA).... don't worry about who charges more fees. Contact all three and get your out the door price. Compare that with the inconvenience/cost of travel to pick up and make a decision. Good defenses don't get teased by eye candy from the offense.
