2024 F-150 Delivered 7/15/2024
When I picked up my F-150 in July, I was surprised that the window sticker did not list the domestic content but rather a marketing message that the F-150 was the best selling vehicle for 47 years.

Last time I purchased new vehicles was in 2014. My Corvette was 70% American content and my Highlander was 68%.

My 2024 F-150 is 32% US and Canadian content.

Interesting is the 2024 Highlander is still 65% US and Canadian content. So , for the naysayers that say making more American content would drive up the costs, not sure how Toyota can do it and achieve one of the most reliable vehicles sold.

If anyone would like to see domestic content, here is the link:

My 2011 had that sticker I believe was around 50% which is typical of most US companies. Many are below 50% now. I think that includes Mexico too, because nearly everything on road from motorcycles to cars has Mexico made wiring harnesses.
It's not just Toyota, but Honda and others keep a lot of production in NA. Subaru has tons of people employed at multiple companies supplying parts, plus the plant itself. Doesn't make sense to ship vehicles over here with the expense involved.

Crazy. Where does Ford source most of the parts from? Mexico?

I think it’s a combination of Mexico and China. I would prefer to buy a vehicle with majority US content, but only foreign owned automotive manufacturers do this.

MME is 51% China parts in that report, not surprising.
