Anyone here that has lifted and installed larger tires also upgraded their gear ratio to compensate foe the heavier load the truck is pushing?
Anyone consider or installed the Ford Performance Tune or other tune to help with acceleration because of the heavier load?

Stillen makes a plug and play tuner for the 2.7. You might contact them.

Back when I had a 2017 5.0, I re-geared from 3.31 to 4.10. It was a huge difference but please make sure you have a reputable shop do the work. It wasn't long until I had issues in the front differential. Something wasn't installed right and came loose. Had to replace the differential all together.

I too have had trucks regeared for big tires, and it's gone poorly both times. I could not recommend doing this.

My suggestion is, move to the 3.5 Eco/ Powerboost with 3.73s and it'll handle the large tires effortlessly. And in fact, for about $1K in injectors and a tuner you can have a 560 rwhp truck and cheaper fuel if you live where E85 is readily available.
