Upgraded to Sync4 12" Infotainment

Hi. Just upgraded my 2022 F150 XL to Sync4 12" infotainment system. The guy who installed/programmed it said my OEM Sync4 8" APIM with gps & screen have no resale value. Is it true that the 8" Sync4 system is useless now, and that nobody needs it anymore? I saw on infotainment.com they sell just the 8" APIM for $1200 (although there's no knowing if anyone buys them). Anyone among you folks did the upgrade and landed up trashing your perfectly fine 8" Sync4 system?

I would list it in the for sale section maybe like $500 + shipping or best offer and see if you get any bites. May also want to check ebay and see if any have recently sold or are listed

Unless someone with an 8" system needs a screen or APIM because theirs went bad, it will not be worth much. I would just list it on ebay and get what you get for it.
