2023 XLT with no homelink. My 2020 had a sweet spot for my universal 3 door garage opener. Have any of you found a good spot. Other than sun visor and phone holder in lower drawer?

Yes I have thought about that. But just looking for ideas on where to put my universal remote I have now.
I have the garage door opener app on my phone. Just a pain to go grab my phone all the time when all I have to do is push a button real quick.

Used Velcro to Velcro the 3 button remote to the backside drivers side of the console front tray.

Present vehicle is 22 302a Column shift with console. Out of sight and much easier on the arms and fingers. Always found the position of visor/ mirror home-link some what awkward.

Now if one has a app enabled WiFi opener 2nd option is to open close and monitor your garage doors thru the home WiFi and app on your smart phone.

Chamberlain / Lift-master has an add on that pairs with the home WiFi and garage door as a remote.

Great idea. I just downloaded MYQ app. That supports my all three of my garage doors. No more universal remote.

Before I installed my $20 Homelink mirror off ebay, I stored my neighborhood gate and garage door remotes at the rear end of the driver door lower pocket. I had the clips facing toward the driver seat, clipped over the wall of the pocket with the buttons facing outside the truck. All I had to do is reach down beside me.

Consider putting a piece of tape on the outside of the pocket wall, to both the metal hanger clip from scratching the plastic, and to increase friction so it doesn't slide around while you're driving.
