Yes, though in my case is was a blown fuse (F212) to the aux battery the PowerBoost models have, see my post here. Were you able to locate a broken wire, and find what was wrong? I just did the same exact thing, but my tailgate actuator went out instead. I also ended up using the lower grommet when I couldn’t get a fish stick through the upper one also. I have an appt at the dealership, but it isn’t until Jan 26, 26 and my warranty will likely be up by then.
I don't think power for the tailgate actuator runs through here, I'd check the RGTM fuse, which is F37 in the 2021 service manual I have.
Here's all the high current fuses:
HIGH CURRENT FUSES
| Fuse | Amps | Circuits protected |
| F36 | 60 Gas Diesel | Direct Current/Alternating Current (DC/AC) inverter |
| F103 | 100 Police | Auxiliary stud box |
| F201 | 300 Gas Diesel | Generator |
| 275 HEV | Direct Current/Direct Current (DC/DC) converter control module | |
| F204 | 50 | Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) |
| F205 | 125 Diesel | Glow Plug Control Module (GPCM) |
| F208 | 125 HEV | Engine cooling fan relay 1 Engine cooling fan relay 2 |
| F211 | 300 Gas Diesel | Not used |
| F212 | 125 HEV | Auxiliary battery 1 |
| F213 | 50 | Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) |
